Linda, you have so many pages done! You have done such a great job of documenting his adventures and interests. That lego mask is really fun! Love all the food pages, especially the Irish meal. Off to Flickr to check out your cards, joblackford...

ITA @zingermack , sympathy cards are the worst - it's really hard to think "pretty" and "creative" when in your mind you have the people who are lost/grieving. those are beautiful appropriate cards youve made however. I too made a card last night. I started with the little stamp set by gina k that came in the SCT "sampler" kit this month. Figured I might as well make sure it got used. It stamps beautifully, and I think the branch/blossoms are adorable! I did ink blending on the background because the plain white wasn't right even with the die/texture. And those dots - they are the imaginesce "irock" tool/hot adhesive metal dots - I haven't had that thing out in 10 years, but they really look good! card hello purple by kirstendrew, on Flickr

those are beautiful appropriate cards youve made however. Thanks so much. I actually deleted the post here just now because I had already posted on the April random scrappiness thread. I thought I had posted them yesterday morning. But then I saw this thread and didn't see them. So I thought I must not have hit 'post'. So I posted them here. Then I realized I had posted them there instead ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) Doh.

I feel so productive this month in my pokey way! This layout took about 4 hours (glueing layers of die cut letters together always takes a while, and fussy cutting the banners is also easy but fiddly), but came together smoothly in terms of my process! layout the happy wholesome exhibition by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Now I have to go see what I've been missing!

Here is my layout for the second of the Sketchy Saturday April 17 sketches. I used a template for the "rays" so thank goodness I didn't have to make them myself. Left love on Flickr for nylene, AussieMeg, and kitbop. Good to see you scrapping and sharing again, teacherlisa. I have missed your slices of life! Love that you focused on your shoe shelf in your closet and that you modeled the shoes you kept and that you bought. Great journaling, as usual. Hmmm.... I should hit MY back hall closet... Maybe tomorrow when dh plans to be gone most of the day... Another gorgeous NJFB page, craftymom101. I love how you used that yellow pp. I have been looking at it wondering if I want to go with the design and plunk a photo in the middle of the circle, but I like your idea better!

Here are two quick pages I put together today. They are glued together straight. But the left one slipped a bit, rotating to the side when I set it down to photograph. Should have rephotographed it, but by the time I noticed it when i posted it on line, the light was gone.
POINTS: two pages created & shared (4). R-3 four photos for Donna challenge (4), P-5 two brads and a clip (3), P-7 one pkg of stickers (1), S/I-2 squares and rectangles each page (4), T-6 torn edge (1), T-7 one cluster (1), Th-2 outdoors (2), N/S-1 four photos (1), two pages and three photos that are square (4), N/S-4 four photos (4), N/S-6 two pager (1),. I have been struggling with these layouts all month, I was just not happy with the embellishments, especially on the second one. In the end I just slapped them down anywhichwhere, otherwise I'd never get the pages finished. I used papers and elements from the following Humble & Create kits: Yard Duty, Bright, Last Day of Summer. Everyday You. ![](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51132388176_f94a3e9c7e_b.jpg) ![](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51132600153_9e93c2a0e9_b.jpg)

AussieMeg, you may have struggled with these LO's but they came out beautifully. I love how you switched up the background from horizontal strips to vertical ones, and all the little gardening icons.

AussieMeg- Love your layouts. You said you you were struggling with one of your layouts but I can't tell. It looks terrific! craftymom101 - Oh, I love your lo. LOL! Great job! gramma - Nice work on your layouts and those cards are just beautiful! scrappyrabbit - You layouts are so good and I especially like the one with the film strip. SO cool!

Catching up on sharing some cards... the first 3 were from my unfinished ideas pile: Doodlebug leftovers: love head tomatoes-5 by jo.blackford, on Flickr Wasn't sure if this was too weird but a friend liked it and bought it for her niece having a baby boy soon: blue bun in oven congrats-2 by jo.blackford, on Flickr Do people give congrats cards to little boys? Should this be a birthday card? IDK. Might donate with a "you're awesome" type of sentiment inside. far out astronaut boy-10 by jo.blackford, on Flickr Using my favorite my monthly hero kit, 3 mother's day cards that my friend already snapped up for her mother/step/in laws - she liked the sentiment inside "thank you for bee-ing my mom." I need to make lots more of these. The backgrounds and blossoms are all stamped on my favorite patterned paper - no ink blending needed! I just added some marker coloring to the flowers to add details. Best patterned paper EVER. There is love on Flickr, scrappyrabbit, gramma and @joblackfford. schroema, your pages are wonderful. Love your use of shape and pattern. So cool that the papers represent her interests. The use of the Monopoly cards paper on the NYE page is genius! Great representation of that class. And I don't think that boat LO needs another thing: the bold colours and triangle "sails" say it all. Very striking.
