Valentine’s Day layout! I enjoy that it’s a different color scheme than a traditional valentines layout. This is using Paige Evans bloom street as well as CM Bee Mine. Valentines 2021 layout by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr

Here is the page that has been sitting on my scrap counter for DAYS... I started planning it when I heard that my ECD kite dies were indeed in my mailbox in town. Go Fly a KITE! by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

I’m finally getting to join in, because this is the first layout I’ve done in over four years! I’ve really missed it! ![](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210426/cde500cfbdbf63084ddb673cdfa23956.jpg) I also designed the kit, so creative x2! 😜

I love the colors, really pretty with the photo. The triangles are a neat twist. I don’t ever think of using triangles, especially not as a main element.

I tried out the mini slimline size today and although I really like the card I made, I’m not sure this size works for me. First, I don’t have the right envelopes and my envelope punch board didn’t do a good job with this size, second, I hate only getting one card base from a sheet of cardstock, even though the scraps are big enough to use for other things. But my main gripe is that my trimmer doesn’t have markings between the 6 and 6.5” marks because it’s a narrow one with a plug in extension arm! It was too much for my brain to figure out how to cut these bases efficiently so I only did 2 (one is a WIP). But anyway, the paper I used is too pretty, from Altenew, so I just added a sentiment and left it as is. The size is really cute. I think it will be nice to write in. April share by jo.blackford, on Flickr And while I’m here, this is my finished for now crochet project (baby lovey? Cushion cover? Idk) with the giant bag of yarn for my next project. I’ve never owned so much yarn at one time! It will be a pretty color wash blanket. April share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

teacherlisa I saw on the challenge points thread about your decorated bags. I was just wondering what you do, are they painted, vinyl, bedazzled?

Thanks for sharing your finished crochet work, joblackford, no matter WHAT it ends up being, it is definitely pretty. I agree that the pp in your card is really pretty. Have you tried getting card blanks in the slimline size? I have seen them on various websites but have not picked any up.

Have you tried getting card blanks in the slimline size? I have seen them on various websites but have not picked any up. Thanks! I haven't looked at card blanks yet, but I did do some math and figure out how to cut the excess off the full card stock sheet so I can use measurements I have marked on my trimmer. I was just too tired to figure it out yesterday. I do still need to see if I can find mini-slimline envelopes. It looks like these 6 3/4 envelopes are the size that Crafty Al used for her cards - about 3.5 x 6.5" I think. She found some at the dollar store. I just did a quick search and SSS had mini slimline card bases and envelopes, and so does Taylored Expressions. I guess I have options! It might actually be more efficient to buy card blanks in this weird size than cut my own. I'm just so used to A2.

Made some cards this week. First, two birthday cards with my new Crafting with my Gnomies papers: Happy bd gnomie cards (2) by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Then three mothers' day cards. One will be for my dd, and the other two for two ddil's: mothers day 2021 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr And then this mothers day card. For one ddil who seems to be always on the go. This is the front that kinda represents her life: supermom front by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Inside the front panel, there is a note to flip the fold so that when she displays this card for her girls to see, it will look like THIS: Supermom inside by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

AussieMeg, that city LO is amazing. Great photos, and I love the way your sparkly "City" gives the impression of city lights. The arrows and the overlapped city scape border strips keep the eye moving through the story and highlight the action and excitement. Awesome photo, craftymom101, and you have created a page special enough to showcase it. Great subtle layering, and I love how the soft colours and diecut leaves show up against the woodgrain background.

Last page of the month for me--and first of iNSD weekend. Adventure Awaits by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This started out as a take on one of Shimelle's half & half classes, but I let the photo and my supplies take me from there. This will be the cover page for dgs's grad album. Photo was taken when he was 4 years old, and he turned 18 last week.

Catching up on sharing some cards... the first 3 were from my unfinished ideas pile: Doodlebug leftovers: love head tomatoes-5 by jo.blackford, on Flickr Wasn't sure if this was too weird but a friend liked it and bought it for her niece having a baby boy soon: blue bun in oven congrats-2 by jo.blackford, on Flickr Do people give congrats cards to little boys? Should this be a birthday card? IDK. Might donate with a "you're awesome" type of sentiment inside. far out astronaut boy-10 by jo.blackford, on Flickr Using my favorite my monthly hero kit, 3 mother's day cards that my friend already snapped up for her mother/step/in laws - she liked the sentiment inside "thank you for bee-ing my mom." I need to make lots more of these. The backgrounds and blossoms are all stamped on my favorite patterned paper - no ink blending needed! I just added some marker coloring to the flowers to add details. Best patterned paper EVER. Finished these during the Friday evening crop and a bit after. A bunch of ancient Hot off the Press paper, stickers, etc ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) Oh, grammadee , notice the papers are almost identical to your iNSD sketch!
I actually went back and found some more flat stickers that fit these photos, but don't really want to re-photograph and post them. This one has a sticker along the title lite that says "We're Engaged"
Used an exacto blade to cut around medallion to tuck photos underneath. These also have a few extra flat stickers added for a little more meaning "I Love this Man", "She's the One", and "yes, yes, yes".

You know, angel97701, I was pretty sure my papers were HOTP, but didn't want to name them in case I was mistaken. Those papers you used are from that same pack, I am sure! Your wedding album is really coming along nicely.

Your wedding album is really coming along nicely. Actually this is the "planning the wedding album", the wedding albums are finished many years ago, but took about 2 years to complete I believe. When someone asked about our oldest unfinished project this jumped to my mind. It is my goal for May to get this done. Then order some photos to finish up 2010, and start more for 2011 and 2021.
