I have subbed to Hip Kit since January 2021 and so far, shipping times have been super s-l-o-w. March kits and add-ons were so behind they’ve been combined with April and both kits are supposedly shipping today (or this week?), but I haven’t received a shipping notification yet.
Is this normal? When February was late, subscribers received a free gift (I received a pack of adhesive wood veneers) and a 20% discount on add-ons for March. With this latest round of slow shipping, compensation hasn’t been mentioned. I payed for March a month ago and I still don’t have my kits.
I’m trying to be patient but so far I’m not impressed with shipping times. Is anyone else a subscriber?

I have been a subscriber since September 2020 and this is not typical. There was one other time I can remember when they were delayed a bit (but not this long!) because there was a delay in receiving product for the kits. I think the past couple of months have been rough due to weather and delays processing imports at the Los Angeles port. I appreciate the fact that they have been pretty transparent and keeping subscribers up to date via email and through the Facebook group. I don’t plan on unsubscribing because normally their shipping timeline is pretty consistent and I love their kits and don’t mind waiting. That’s just my two cents though. I can totally understand being frustrated, especially for newer subscribers!

No, it's not normal. They are having issued due to manufacturers having global shipping problems.
It's shocking how bad the supply chain is right now, for everything.

Unrelated, but they've been knocking it out of the park with their original design papers this past year. Really beautiful Can any of you subscribers tell me, how does their weight and print quality compare to AC or other brands?

Really beautiful Can any of you subscribers tell me, how does their weight and print quality compare to AC or other brands? Heavyweight paper. I believe their original designs are manufactured by Pinkfresh. If you’re familiar with their paper quality, it’s definitely comparable. The only downside is it’s hard to move things after they’re stuck down. It pulls up some of the printed design. Since gluing things down and peeling things up are part of my style (because it would look so much better a half inch to the left...or...oops! Forgot to put down that glacier paste. Let me peel up and add it!), I’m not that happy about it. That said, I still buy extra paper because I love the designs so much. I just have to be a bit more careful or add embellishment clusters over the spots I mess up.

I'm a subscriber, and I love the kit!
Yes, it's been slow, but the supply chain has been terrible. I write art lessons, and buy art supplies for a living. My company ships all around the US to schools. Let me tell you, the pandemic has been a nightmare for art supplies. Between schools etc buying stuff for individuals vs classroom packs, to people doing more hobby art as they stay home, to things manufactured in Asia or around the world, and finally people who make art supplies had to slow down just as much as the rest of us at our jobs. It's been a really bad year. Supply chain has made me cry at work more than once this year. Everything costs more, and is available less.
So, I'm very impressed with their communication, and as much as I want my kit like everyone else does, free pass - because it will be worth it in the end!

My March and April kits still show up as "Processing".

I just checked on the tracking. My March/April kits are scheduled to arrive on Monday (I'm in California). I didn't have any add-ons, so it's possible those are sent out first as they are the "easiest" orders to fill. I know when I do have add-ons, it seems like my order is on the end of the shipping cycle. Just a thought based on observation and no actual facts.

I'm in California too, but I have add-ons.
