I really like the color, but I think it will be something I will buy if I stumble across it, like at a store. Not a must order/must have.

The order from scrapbook.com already arrived, shocked. I made new swatches of salvaged patina’s neighbors to have the same number of ink layers on each one. My take:
Tumbled glass and mermaid lagoon are much bluer. TG is lighter and ML darker. Cracked pistachio and evergreen bough are much greener. CP is close in value. Speckled egg is lighter and grayer.
Broken china is bluer though not as much as the other blues - a bridge between the blues and greens - and is darker. Peacock feathers is the closest hue and much darker.
These play nice together: Salvaged patina, cracked pistachio and mermaid lagoon. Salvaged patina, cracked pistachio and broken china. Salvaged patina, cracked pistachio and tumbled glass.
I’ll be using this color a lot, both for contrast type blends and stamping, and for blends in the same or similar families.
YMMV
ETA At night in the less bright, warmer light I’m in right now, peacock feathers appears greener than salvaged patina - or salvaged patina a little more blue.

Ohhhh I do like this one, it is really close to peacock feathers but if I owned it I would grab it over Peacock feathers just because I tend to use more pastel shades these days. I really struggle to use the dark grungy colours in the distress inks that I own but colours like this and kitsch flamingo I can really get behind.

This color fits in so nicely with what he currently has and it reminds me of the ocean. Can't wait to play with this color.

I’m still holding out for a buttery, warm yellow, or a plummy purple/burgundy. Maybe the yellow for Summer release, and the plum/burgundy for Fall release On his release video- he shows how to make a customer color with the reinkers. He specifically talks about a merlot color and a buttery yellow. Worth a try!

Fast forward to about 51:00 - and he explains how to initially apply the reinkers to blend thoroughly together on blank pads. timholtz.com/new-distress-color-salvaged-patina/

I'll be waiting for more new colors.. then I'll buy the 4 pack of mini distress pads. I just did this with the last 4 colors (speckled egg, etc)

Broken china is my favourite Oxide. I use it for inking edges, blending backgrounds with brushes, and creating watercolour backgrounds with spritzed water on a craft mat. If this pad ever dries out, I might be tempted to pick up the salvaged patina. Or I might get it in the spray bottle for misting.

Looking at the salvaged patina swatch, I keep thinking Miami Beach (the buildings).Wonderful with some pinks. (Worn lipstick addict here.).Obviously not a grunge look.
