No photos, but my first time making booties for my niece's first baby, as well as a baby blanket (I was scared that I wouldn't finish the blanket in time, so I started the booties)
I haven't started my Christmas cards yet

Wish I knew how to spin! I just pulled out a sock that I was working on last year and not liking. I restarted yesterday and am liking the results this time around. Putting a few rows on an afghan here and there. Will be lucky if it's done next winter, lol! I finished a cute little project bag this week (sewn) that i've had floating around for the last month. Was a learning experience, but came out fairly cute. Unfortunately I have pictures of none of these things

This week? Lots of cutting fabric pieces for a few marathon sewing days. I have bags, pot holders, can cozies and a few other things to make by Dec 13.
In between sewing, I'm currently knitting a cowl, two different socks, and a hat, all of which are orders. I also have a few ornaments I need to knit up along with even more socks, hats and cowls for Christmas gifts.

I just did a name sign for a new baby this afternoon. It's so easy to make. There's a lumber yard in my town that sells over runs of a lot of stuff. they have cabinet doors and drawer fronts for $2 each. The drawer fronts make really good signs when I slap some vinyl down on it. I can make one really quickly. I picked up a couple extra drawer fronts today so I can make some more for Christmas presents.

I haven't gotten started yet. I did my last craft show last weekend, so any crafting up to that point was for them. I'm currently working on a couple of ruffle scarves that were orders. I have a couple ideas running through my head, but I don't know if I'm going to have time to do them this year. Christmas is just coming too fast!

I made a Christmas wreath, a few ribbon angels and two doily angels. The doily angels are really cute but my hands are too big and I find them frustrating. I'm torn if I want to make more because I really like them but I don't really enjoy making them. I'm planning on making a clay pot nativity tonight. I don't have pictures and even if I did I don't know how to post them here. I'm making all of these things for gifts except the wreath that's for me.

I don't have any pictures, but my daughter and her family had family pictures done today and I made a framed sign for them that says "this is our happily ever after" and decorated a onesie with pink and blue hearts for my granddaughter to hold in a some of the pictures.
I am also working on my Christmas cards. One down and many more to go!

I'm making Nightmare Before Christmas ornaments. I'm just drawing the characters onto ornaments. The Jacks are coming out great. Logitech a Boogie and the Mayor look ok. I'm not liking Sally.

I helped my daughter make a baby quilt for her friend's baby shower today. It is really cute. I forgot to take a pic if it before my daughter wrapped it.

I'm working on Thanksgiving decorations. I'm covering styrofoam balls with twine and ribbon for my apothecary jar. My daughter says they look like acorns. That works. I also bought materials for a Thanksgiving wreath, but I haven't started working on it yet.

I've been helping DD make a variation of these: Hand Print Snowman OrnamentsShe's having such a blast with them that she made a "how to" video and made me post it on my FB so others could learn how to make them.

I am sewing a gazillion stupid gold coins to the tutu bodice remake for dds Esmeralda tutu. She insisted on it being straight across, but it didn't look good so I redid it with a v and it looks much better. I have a flowy mesh tunic type thing for another ballet dance (Walpurgisnacht for ballet people who might care) cut out but that is it so far. Gotta get moving, want them all done with headpieces by Christmas!

I don't have photos either. Although I posted on on Canadianscrappers christmas thread the paper wreath I did last week, but my project this week- is a chipboard book for my sister. She just had her 2nd girl last Sunday. I just got the chipboard pages covered today. Waiting for ink for printer from Amazon today.

I'm making a Christmas wreath for my sister for Christmas, and tomorrow I'm going to a friend's house to decoupage the letters R U N with all my race bibs.
I would love to learn to knit like you. I can only knit very basic items...hats, blankets, scarves, and dish cloths.

Well not really crafty but I have been working on house projects. I cleaned and sealed our patio table with four coats of sealer and am calling it done. I also spray painted four chairs and a table for our deck. I need to paint the undersides tomorrow and add one more coat to the table. The painting has been on my to do list for over a year and I love how it is turning out and so much easier than I thought. It just takes a lot of time in between coats and pieces as I only have room to paint one at a time.
So after I finish that tomorrow I need to steam some new drapes and then hem them. Four panels. I am not looking forward to it but can't wait for it to be done. These are things I want to finish up before we host thanksgiving.
I am hoping to find some time to edit some photos so I can print them this week and I need to do some digital pages so they can be printed then I can start some fun stuff. I have calendars to make, Christmas cards, Christmas ornaments, photo album then putting together three albums with the digital pages. I already have the scrapbooks but just know there is no way I will finish traditional pages for so many scrapbooks in time. Then I want to make some more Christmas tags and maybe a few pages for my albums and a couple more small projects for Christmas presents.
I also uncovered a cowl I started last year and need to find the pattern so I can finish it up. I also have some of the fun ruffle yarn to make a few scarves. So many projects and so little time.
I love seeing and hearing about what everyone is working on.

I made ten of these this weekend. This was my first attempt. I have them in green, red, silver, and gold. I also made a dozen bison, deer, and moose vinyl on glass ornaments for a friend who lost her house in a fire two summers ago.

I want to make some of those draft dodgers things for my doors and windows, but I don't have a sewing machine and I can't remember how to use one.

I use a spinning wheel to turn wool fiber into yarn. It's very relaxing. That's soo cool. My mom has a spinning wheel too. I LOVE the red and gray ones. I'm trying to get her to make me some this year. She made me a shawl last year but it only that cold here for a few months. She just got a bigger wheel for her birthday.

My son's girlfriend wants to try arm knitting. We watched a thirty minute YouTube video of it last night. I bought the yarn today. Your arms turn into the needles and it looks pretty similar to regular knitting. We are going to make infinity scarves using the really thick [HASH]6 yarn. Think we will do it next weekend.

insert code here I'm just crazy working on stuff for indoor farmer's markets and craft shows. We make gourmet lemonades and cocoas. Todays specialty was lavender lemonade (which people loved!) Here's my facebook with some of the items I make. I'd love more "likes"! Sweet flaves

I just finished a winter themed glass ornament wreath for a charitable auction at work. It's in blue, silver and white, with a cardinal and small red ornaments intended to evoke winter berries. Even buying all the supplies on sale and with coupons, it cost about $70.00 to make. I doubt anyone will bid close to that because I've seen inexpensive plastic ornament wreaths everywhere so far this season. Until I realized that, I had planned to make another one for the same auction in traditional Christmas colors with vintage style Shiny Brite ornaments. I can't decide whether or not to go forward.

I use a spinning wheel to turn wool fiber into yarn. It's very relaxing. That sounds interesting. Do you buy wool fiber in a fabric or craft store? And does that machine have a foot peddle that spins it? If it does, I think I've seen it before, but really never knew what it did. I must sound dense, but it's intriguing, lol.

Ive been painting some handmade Christmas signs. I wish you could just upload a photo directly to this site instead of a host site and then URL, I can never remember my passwords so I don't even bother. Otherwise I'd show you a photo!
