On most of these "Would you eat this" threads I'm in the "heck yeah, pass the salt!" but in this case that baby would be going straight in the bin!

Driveway cheese! I love this place! If I knew it was my Babybel, and it wasn't too hot of a day (questionable for May in Georgia!), then I would've put it back in the fridge. I'm the only one that eats it at my house (well, except for the grandkids.) But I wouldn't have said anything to anyone about it. What they don't know, and all that stuff. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

If it came from my own grocery bag, and it wasn't yet liquefied, then it's pretty much fair game. Everybody knows you don't waste good cheese like that!

Baybels are sold non-refrigerated here, so lack of refrigeration isn't an issue. But, since I don't know whose dirty mitts have been on it, I would pass.. From the Laughing Cow website: I would have no problem buying unrefrigerated hard cheeses. Not Babybel. ![(puke)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sick.png) As I said, where I am, they sit in a container on an end cap. Eggs aren't refrigerated here, either. I believe that they have to display an abundance of caution in the US for fear of litigation....

I wouldn't have a problem with unrefrigerated eggs as long as they weren't in and then out of the fridge. I wouldn't buy unrefrigerated soft cheese.

Into the closest trash can? No way would I eat cheese from the driveway in July. (Probably ever, but never July...)

I would toss it. How did it escape from the little net bag it came in anyhow. DS and girlfriend snacked on the way home from the store.

I'd have lunch, but really i'd probably have to pull it out of the dogs mouth first- they love that stuff!
(No, I don't really eat OUT of my dogs mouths, but we'd be wrasslin for it.)

In the trash - I get mine at Costco so I would toss the stray one knowing I had more in the fridge.

I thought of this thread when I checked the mail this morning... there was a whole mango next to my mailbox. We don't have a mango tree, I didn't buy any mangos recently, I have no idea where it came from!

Weird how there's different 'traditions' (?) in different places.
