My mum has a Nespresso machine which I use when I'm staying with her. I much MUCH prefer my machine that uses coffee beans, but as far as pod machines go, it's pretty good.
I have tried non Nespresso pods in the machine, and I have to say I prefer the Nespresso ones. I like strong coffee and use the #12 pods. I haven't found an off brand pod that's strong enough for me.

My stupid farking Keurig just died, after a few years of finicky behavior and endless rounds of needle maintenance and descaling. I have a serious love/hate relationship with that stupid thing. Now I gotta replace it, but really REALLY not interested in yet another round of "will it work today?" stress. Plus, I have a regular coffee maker (Bunn) that works beautifully and honestly prefer brewed coffee much better than Keurig. Thinking instead about getting a Nespresso. Who has one? Which one? Nespresso Canada had a $100 off deal - y'all are enablers for sure. I got the Vertuo for $99 and then $25 off coffee if you bought 50 pods....
