Wonder what that machine is in photo 20?
"in considerable disrepair" is an understatement.
Anyone willing to take a chance on this is living on the edge. What are the odds that someone will have it declared historical and then prohibit removing it or repairing it (if someone really thought they wanted to live there)?

i think it would not be designated as historic.. and you would have to plan building on the lots. the cabin could be red tagged. but you would have to check it out.

On three parcels totaling 25,000 sq ft sure sounds better than the whole thing being barely over a half acre.
Makes me glad to live where real estate is considerably cheaper.
This listing is apparently the definition of that old real estate adage of location, location, location.

My husband grew upon a farm and he says it looks like a spreader. Manure? Seeds?

I would absolutely jump on that! Surrounding homes are going for well over $1million! If you look at the history of the pricing it shows listed, pending, listed pending. I’m guessing it’s designated historic and very expensive to deal with.

Wow. That isn’t far from where I grew up, but it’s WAY up in the hills. I bet there are other historic treasures like that hidden away up there.
The shocking thing is that it’s never burned. There’s a big wildfire up there every generation or so ... ‘20s, ‘50s, ‘70s, and ‘90s (when my parents’ house burned). The 1930s fires they talked about in the articles would have been minor in comparison. I’m stunned they were never in the path of a fire over all those decades.
We’re overdue for another big one. It scares me, but at least I don’t have anyone up in those hills anymore.

We currently live in a log home. It is near impossible to find people to work on or repair log homes unless you are in certain areas of the country.
This would have to be a tear down.
