Why can't we have more colorful 6x8 albums? I swear, all the 6x8 (6 ring) albums I can find are grey, white and black. Boooooooring. I wish a company would make some colorful like the Citrus Twist albums. I am starting to plan my Jamacia album and can't find anything colorful so I guess I am going to have to paint an album like I do at Christmas time for December Daily.
So frustrating to want color and be unable to actually find it.
Just venting.

Totally agree! I don’t understand why AE doesn’t put some on her shop. Anytime she releases a colorful one for a special project they sell out pretty quick.

I would love the Citrus Twist colorful albums in 6x8! Same! I love CT albums. Hands down, they are superior quality to any other brand.

CT has so many beautiful colors 😍 it would be a dream if they made them 6x8 too. mom how does the paint hold up? I’m might have to try that.

I have painted 3 (maybe 4?) albums so far...DD, OLW and this years WITL. So far, no issues. I water my paint down and do several layers and let each layer dry completely before moving on. Tape everything inside off with painters tape. I just use inexpensive acrylic paint, and a touch of water to thin it out. I have only used this technique on fabric albums though.

I have the “warm red” AE DD album that is actually a light peach that I’ve been meaning to paint.

I spray painted a chipboard album that was about 6.99 from Hobby Lobby a nice burnished bronze for DD 2020-one coat, looks great!
I bought a fun mint green striped album from Simple Stories for WITL, about 11 dollars.

Scrapbook.com has some under their own brand. I bought a striped one for my WITL album. I'm pleased so far but I haven't started working in it yet. Page protectors are separate though.

I haven't in the past, mainly because the albums I was painting were light colored fabric to begin with, and I was painting on a darker color.

I too wish there were more options. I looked at scrapbook.com's albums but decided to order the cream SC one from sb.com instead. I've gotten too used to the 6 rings for DD & WITL that I not only have a ton of PPs, but I like having the set of 3 rings to insert a 4x6 photo on its own wherever I want to put it (either the top or the bottom.)
Now that I have the cream album in my hands I want to paint it because it looks so blah...

Did anyone ask Cutrus Twist to make their albums in 6x8 size? You would think that their source can do it. I know their albums are different and nobody makes them but I think if they make the 6x8 albums in the colors they have, I would buy some as well.

I recently bought a bright pink 6x8 Studio Calico album on clearance at a store. I did some searching and there is this one.
It's not a brand I've used before.

I also love the look of the CT albums but have never been able to buy one (international shipping). I love bright happy colours! I bought some last year, when the shipping was a little more inexpensive. You can buy 2 albums internationally. They ship with dhl and with tracking. Normally they took about 2 weeks to arrive to Germany. Those albums are a dream 😍. I guess they will have a nearly perfect sale in may, like last year. To finish up my rainbow of ct albums I need a good green and purple colored, so I have my eyes on cranberry, spruce and lilac. 😎 Actually their price tag for shipping is 16,50$.

I would definitely buy the Citrus Twist albums in the 6x8 size!
I am hoping that Scrapbook.com will add more colors to their 6x8 line if the existing colors sell well....
