Hi scrappy friends! This is my first sketchy Saturday so be gentle 😃 I used a sketch from scrapbook generation.  The photos I used are from my daughter’s last day of school last year. I used some pattern papers to represent some of her activities.  I can’t wait to see what you create! |

Oh I have really been loving the pages I have been seeing recently with the squares in the background. Great sketch, schroema! And your page is wonderful! Love the colours & patterns you chose, the way you rounded the edges, How you used two larger photos and switched out one of them for a journaling spot. |

I used some pattern papers to represent some of her activities. Ah, very clever, what a great idea!! I love the sketch, thanks - anything with squares or circles in the background and I'm all over it. In fact, I am pretty sure I have that sketch in my list of favourites to scrap.  |

I like the sketch choice! I'm going to try and adapt it for a 6x8 album since I don't really scrap 12x12 (except for pocket pages) anymore.
The colors in your layout go perfectly with the photos and I really like how you did your journaling on a pocket page card. I always forget I can use pocket page cards on regular layouts.

Love all the happy colours and they go wonderfully with the happy people in the photos, AussieMeg. And I love how that stitched circle and the clusters frame them. You are amazing at replicating the different effects. Now I want to grab some daubers and ink and start creating another of those Vicki Boutin style backgrounds... |
