... package yesterday according to the Amazon website. I called her just now and she hasn't seen it. Lives on a dead end street with good neighbors, unlikely that someone would have swiped it off of the porch. I have the name of the delivery company and a tracking number. Will try to reach them.
Has this happened to you and were you able to get it figured out and resolved to your satisfaction?
There were two items in this shipment, valued at around $140 CAD.
Delivery By Intelcom Courrier Canada Inc.
UPDATE #1 So.... I have a photo of the package being tucked in behind a chair on mum's front porch. BUT, it's not out there and she didn't know a thing about it. We thought one of her next door neighbors might have picked up the package... one did not, the other one isn't home.
WHO DO I CONTACT re: mum not getting these items? I'm thinking that neither Intelcom nor Amazon has any responsibility at this point... is that right?
UPDATE #2 So the package was stolen from mum's front porch. While it is a dead end street I neglected to mention that there is a path down to a field and river at the end of the street, and apparently there are a lot of people who go up and down that wee hill for exercise every day. Mum also sometimes sees what appear to be homeless people walking up from the river as well.
Without much hope I called Amazon last night and was shocked when the customer service rep said there was no way for him to resend the items but that he was going to refund every penny of the $130 CAD. He sent me an email confirming that, and I reordered the items, with the exception that they will now be sent to an Amazon Hub which if practically down the street from my sister's house. She's more than happy to pick it up and take it to mum's on one of her several weekly visits. Phew!
Happy to share this happy outcome!

Every time I have ordered something from the US to Canada via Amazon, Intelcom always takes a photo of it on my porch. Do you have a photo?

I sometimes will get a delivery confirmation message but the package doesn't arrive until the next day. Especially true with postal service. I think the "fake" it to show something was delivered timely.

I was just going to say the same thing, Intelcom's drivers send emails after delivery with pictures of where they dropped it off. Look into that. If you didn't receive the email I'm sure it can be sent to you when you contact them

I called Intelcom and a helpful rep sent me the photo. I hadn't received it earlier and only knew the package had been delivered when I logged on to Amazon.ca to check its status. UPDATE: Package HAS been delivered to mum... photo shows it tucked behind some furniture on her front porch. I've been trying to call her to let her know where to look, but her line has been busy. I think she may have hung up the phone incorrectly, or she's talking to her best friend.

I remember my mom’s phone being busy because she didn’t hang it up properly.

Sorry the package ended up really missing. Amazon is good at refunds in general!

That's a good update. Hopefully there was nothing time sensitive in the original package.
