I thought this was interesting.
I bought the Obed Marshall scrapbook line on Scrapbook.com. Half of the words/phrases on the paper/embellishments are in Spanish.
I bought some more of the paper/embellishments at Joann. I just noticed everything was totally in English.
I thought that was weird because I do live in an area with a significant Spanish speaking population. I feel like one of the cool things about the line is that it caters to Spanish speaking people. But evidently there are two versions of the line and Joann chose to sell the English worded ones.

I picked up a curbside order from J's a week or 2 ago but just bought one of the papers so I didn't didn't get to the actual product in-store.

I recently bought his Buenos Dias digital kit, and most of the embellishments are in Spanish. I just went and counted - 29 Spanish and 11 English.
Usually with true digital kits that are done by a designer whose language is something other than English, they will offer all embellishments in both English and their native language.

My first reaction was that's weird and sad, but I guess if Joann is buying on a national scale it's going to make more sense for them to get the English version. Individual stores might have a market for Spanish supplies but the bulk of Joann stores are going to sell through the English - I don't think they order based on local demand, I don't think their system is that fine tuned.

I did not know that. I did pick up the JoAnn’s and I thought I had been mistaken thinking there were more Spanish words. Guess I’m not losing it after all😉

I saw an ad for Joanns that he was in saying his collection was in English in Joann stores only. I bought some and was confused because I thought it would have some Spanish words. It's a beautiful collection.

It is very pretty paper. I love the cereal/pop tart one, although I haven’t found a use for it yet.
In truth, the all English one is of more use to me, but I just thought it was weird that Joann eliminated the unique feature of the design.

Wow, that’s too bad, I’m glad I picked up the pieces I wanted from online shops. I’m not a native Spanish speaker, but I wanted the mix of English and Spanish words because I’ll be scrapping photos from travel to Spanish speaking countries. Many of the Spanish words are commonly used by English speakers anyway. Not to mention the fact that Spanish speakers are scrapbookers, too

I love the cereal/pop tart one That is adorable!! I want it now. I would love Spanish words paper for my trips to Mexico and I would have used it for my kids school pages. Very cute.
