Turning to the gardening peas for some help!
I planted a sweet little cherry tree at my previous home. I'd like to plant one at our current home but can't remember the name.
The trunk was maybe 2" or 2 1/2" in diameter and standing maybe 5' tall. It didn't ever grow much taller. The branches all came out of the trunk at the top (almost certainly a hybrid). The branches drooped almost straight down like a curtain and moved in the breeze. Flowers were pale pink.
I have a perfect place to plant another of these trees if I could just figure out what it was called.
Thanks so much!

Thanks for your suggestions! No, not a weeping cherry. Those branches spread out quite a bit. And not a snow fountain. We tried that. Definitely not that. The branches on my tree dropped down like a curtain. This is the closest I can find: hybrid weeping cherry tree

Are you sure it was a cherry and not a crabapple? Also your zone and the location it is in can affect the size of a tree. I have had trees that were supposed to be 20 ft tall and wide. They never went past 8 or 9 tall and maybe 3 ft wide.

That honestly could be any flowering cherry or crabapple. Trees don't all grow to their full height. It is dependent on a a lot of factors. Also, there are SO many hybrids out there that it could be one of them or it could have simply been a hybrid that was created by accident.

My neighbor had one, I never knew what it was but my aunt told me it was a weeping plum. I think from googling though that it was more like the cherry i linked.
