Is there such a thing? And does it work? What's your favorite?

I use cheap hairspray! I like Aussie Sprunch spray which says flexible hold but is a little stiff for my liking or salon selectively maybe? Silver/gray bottle purple cap

I really liked the last stuff I used but it left a gritty film all over my bathroom.

Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play is great hairspray. I have a lot of hair but it is fine and unless I use a LOT of the spray, I can mess with my hair all day if I want to without ruining the style, either straight or curled. It's not sticky or stiff. I can't say enough great things about it. Make sure you get the spray & play, though, because the other Big Sexy hair products don't work the same.

I use Elnett also and love it but some people hate the smell of even the unscented. It needs to be shaken first and they make one for color treated hair. Nozzle never clogs.
I also use Healthy Sexy Hair in the blue can with brown top. LOVE. This one is my favorite. No smell if you are sensitive.

TRESemme Two Extra Hold Non-Aerosol Hair Spray. I've tried a ton of them too. I used Aussie Sprunch Spray (non-aerosol) since the 80's then about 5 years ago they changed it and it left white dots on my hair and was gross. I always would spray my hair while it was just slightly damp (not even. Just this (-) close to being dry) to help keep the curls from frizzing then after a few mins I could put my fingers through it and it would have moveability. But after Aussie changed I'd spray it like I always had (since the 80's!) and since my hair was barely damp the hairspray would leave white dots on my hair. So I started looking for one that would let me use it while my hair was barely damp, would 'set' my hair then I could put my fingers through it and it wouldn't be stiff but yet still have some hold left. Make sense? I don't wear my hair curly any more and it works on my now straight hair too. The one above is the only one I've found that works for me. I've tried expensive and cheap and was willing to use whatever worked. This one was it, lucky it was a cheap one.
