From the article….
”Supporters of the radical movement expressed concerns that Trump going on a speaking tour later this year surely means that he will not be returning a president—a false claim they have continued to believe since he lost the 2020 election more than seven months ago.”

Abbott found the dollars for his and former's wall. Calling his plans to complete the building of Donald Trump's border wall "ludicrous," the editorial board of the Austin -American Statesman hammered Gov. Greg Abbott in a biting editorial on Sunday morning. ..... Abbott proposed raising money to finish the job with a scheme that the paper's editorial board bluntly called "a half-baked, Go-Fund-Me effort that should make all Texans cringe." Noting that the governor is doing nothing about the state's power grid problems that led to deaths from a killing freeze last winter and now energy outages as the state bakes from a heatwave, the editorial called out, "Abbott's acts of political theater at the border, advancing his 2022 reelection bid and possible White House aspirations." "Although he is inviting private donations for the wall, the governor is using real taxpayer money — moving $250 million out of the state prison budget — to get the ball rolling, starting with hiring a project manager," the paper reported. "And while Abbott says he wants to work with Texans eager to donate their land for a border wall, many landowners along the border have fought such a project for years — meaning Texas would face years of expensive litigation if it tried to make a border wall a reality." Citing the many problems with getting the wall finished -- including building it on land that is privately owned -- the editors pointed out, "Trump never understood any of that. But the governor of Texas does." www.rawstory.com/greg-abbott/

He's having trouble with the words!!! "I pledge to the flag"
What happened to I pledge allegiance to the flag? What happened to the Republic?
The real pledge!
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Hogan Gidley and Jenna Ellis are now paid contributers to Newsmax The pair appeared over the weekend at the Faith and Freedom Coalition conference. (Me: where Rick Scott appeared and said too much about the Pledge of Allegiance!) www.rawstory.com/newsmax-2653479655/

Cruz got called out by Princeton historian.. maybe he is not so loved at his former university! As Princeton historian Kevin Kruse writes at MSNBC, Cruz's comparison is nonsensical given that critical race theory is an academic concept while the KKK was a terrorist organization that has been responsible for political violence throughout the United States. What's more, Kruse notes that the Texas senator's attempt to equate critical race theory with the KKK echoes arguments made in the 1950s and 1960s by segregationist politicians who would often argue that the Klan and civil rights activists were both two sides of the same extremism coin. www.rawstory.com/ted-cruz-2653477849/

The man speaks the truth. The man also referred to people with mental illness as retarded then had his spokesperson issue an apology.

Jen seems to forget that this time last year the majority of states were still in lockdown. That’s her point. Gas was low last year, not due to the President, but to the fact that no one was going anywhere. Now it is back to where it was before the pandemic.

This is the guy from NC who was gathering, filling out ballots and had friends do the same, McCrae Dowless The guy that won ended up having his own son testify against for fraud and I also think he did some time too... Keep in mind that the GOP continues to state the Democrats have participated in so much fraud. Dowless is a republican and that's who he was helping 2018... The United States government will be reimbursed after fraud was committed by a GOP operative running an election fraud scheme. Instead, he pleaded guilty to two of the four charges he faced related to Social Security disability fraud, and prosecutors agreed to drop the other two charges." While the charges aren't directly related, they stem from the fact Dowless was running his election fraud scheme while claiming to be too disabled to work. www.rawstory.com/mccrae-dowless/

A person who said something hurtful and insensitive about people who suffer from mental illness? Or a former president who keeps insisting he won the election and that it was stolen from him? A man who spends his time spreading the lie and is convincing his followers that proof will be found and he will be reinstated as President in August? I’m curious, are you one of those folks who believes trump when he says the election was stolen even after multiple audits says there was no widespread fraud?

No I don’t think the election was stolen, never did. Do I think there was fraud, possibly but not widespread and certainly not anywhere near enough to overturn the election. Trump has been beating on that dead horse for so long it’s now 6 feet under.

She didn’t say last year, she said 2018. That was long before the pandemic. Exactly. 2018 is a better comparison because of the unprecedented events of the pandemic. I think you're entirely missing the point here. Jim Jordan used the price of gas in 2020 as a comparison, Jen Psaki used a more accurate reflection by using 2018 prices.

Fiction writers can’t make this stuff up. I’ve been reading bits about if the Republicans take back the majority in the House it seems they can elect trump Speaker of the House. Once that’s done trump as Speaker of the House can start Articles of Impeachment against both President Biden and Vice President Harris for I guess not doing a photo op at the Southern Border. The plan is to then remove both from office clearing the way for the Speaker of The House aka as trump to be sworn in as President. nymag.com/intelligencer/amp/article/trump-house-speaker.htmlFrom what I understand trump is not adverse to the plan but he still thinks he will be reinstated as President in August. But in case he’s not, he is part of a two man show with Bill O’Reilly. Do you know how insane this all sounds? But yet there are people out there pushing this stuff and fools actually believe it.

I was referring to her unemployment comment. She should have used the same year for her unemployment comparison. She didn’t since it was around 4% in 2018. Comparing last year to this year is ridiculous, of course unemployment was going to come down as the country opened up and people went back to work. It was inevitable that gas prices were going to go up, we knew that the minute Biden was elected. He made it perfectly clear during the campaign that he was going to shut down the Keystone pipeline and kill the oil and gas leases.

If you actually listened to what he said he was referring to his grandson, that he had never heard him say it before. FTR, so you don’t think it was just a thing for the Republicans, adding ‘under God’ passed the house with 401 votes and the senate with 99 votes.

As if we don't have to worry about just the Republicans, there are too many others .. Pohlhaus want to set Maine up to be an all white state.... He has some really outrages ideas... Like recruiting sharpshooters to pick off trucks driver to interrupt the economy as well as terrify people all over!! *** The ex-Marine who is attempting to lead a mass-migration of neo-Nazis to Maine to create a white ethnostate, a project he described in peaceful terms, once told followers how to target and shoot truckers in sniper operations. It’s easy to stop trucks. You don’t need anybody; you barely need anyone. Twenty five dudes,” Pohlhaus said in the video from August 2020. “Twenty five dudes trained with a (rifle).” “Each one of those guys shoots and moves and hides, shoots two truckers a day. That’s 50 truckers (shot) every day.” www.vice.com/en/article/93yq7y/ex-marine-and-neo-nazi-told-followers-how-to-shoot-truckers-to-dismantle-supply-chain

A person who said something hurtful and insensitive about people who suffer from mental illness? at least Schumer issued an apology... Trump made fun of people with disabilities, starting with that reporter, and NEVER STOPPED. I never heard any apology from Trump for ANY of the behavior that any random pre-schooler would KNOW BETTER than to do... did you?

Schumer should have issued the apology himself, not through one of his aides. He made the remark, he needs to own it. You wouldn’t have accepted an apology from Trump and you sure as hell wouldn’t t have stood for it coming from one of his aides. As for any pre-schooler knowing better, I guess that makes Schumer nothing more than a pre-schooler himself.

Yes, probably Schumer should have apologized himself. However former has never apologized for saying things far worse over and over again!!
