Too bad they trusted former twice-impeached one-term.. oops.. "'If the indebtedness is not paid in full within 30 calendar days, we intend to forward this debt to the Department of Treasury, Treasury offset program, for further collection,' reads one letter to a former White House official, demanding she pay $1,500," reported Brian Faler and Daniel Lippman. "That has left some shocked and angry. One former official called her $1,300 bill unacceptable,' saying she and her colleagues 'gave our time and effort to this agency and this is how we're getting paid back.' Said another, asked to pay almost $1,200: 'It's just a very unfortunate situation.'" All of this stems from an executive order Trump signed creating a payroll tax holiday, something he had asked Congress to do but had been rebuffed on. ** Many Trump appointees have been blindsided by the former president's loss. Some had staked their careers on him winning re-election, and found themselves losing their jobs and benefits when it didn't happen. www.rawstory.com/trump-appointees-cry-bitter-tears-after-his-desperate-payroll-tax-delay-leaves-them-owing-thousands/

How can these Republican Senators look this woman in the eyes when they are going to do everything they can to make what happened on January 6 go away.

It's almost like they didn't understand how our three branches of government have to work together. The President can't change the tax law all by himself, and as it has always been, a promise by a trump isn't worth the paper it's written on and is worth even less if it is just a statement on twitter.

Too bad the Republicans in Congress and in local governments don’t understand this. Or maybe they do and feel it’s not their problem to address.

Mitch are you listening?!?! (CNN)A group of former Homeland Security secretaries who served in both Republican and Democratic administrations is calling on the Senate "to put politics aside" and create a 9/11-style commission to investigate the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol, according to a joint statement provided first to CNN. www.cnn.com/2021/05/27/politics/dhs-secretaries-january-6-commission/index.html

Hey Texas voters, are you ready to admit that Texas Republicans are firmly in the Plutocracy corner yet? Texas leads the way for supporting the Plutocracy no matter what. Heaven forbid the Republicans of Texas do any thing to help their actual constituent’s & voters recover from hell froze over and all the expenses and damages that occurred, but let’s run to prop up those corporations. You know, the corporations who were making all the profits and not properly maintaining or winterizing their equipment? Those corporations? - let’s just reward them for poor behavior and screw the individuals and families that are your constituents. How much money is flowing into their pockets for betraying the citizens of Texas for the greedy power brokers?

Oh what tangled webs they weave.... Allen Weisselberg's coverup could be 'much worse' than the underlying crimes: Watergate prosecutor Bob Brigham May 27, 2021 "I don't think you could actually do it, because a court wouldn't evict somebody in seven days, but the idea that he's trying to do this, amounts to witness tampering. It amounts to obstruction of justice and what it comes down to is whether he is doing it with a corrupt intent, an improper purpose," Akerman said. "Meaning, that he is doing it to silence her or to, somehow, influence her testimony. and that is what this looks like." "That she's being evicted from an apartment, where Allen Weisselberg is the guarantor on the rent, I mean, that just, on the surface, smacks of obstruction of justice and witness tampering which are, both, federal crimes and state crimes," he said. "Witness tampering, in the federal system, carries a sentence of 20 years in prison. I mean, it is more serious than the tax evading. This is, clearly, one of those cases where the coverup could wind up being much worse for Allen Weisselberg than the actual crime that he's being investigated for." "Spoken like a Nixon prosecutor," Melber said. www.rawstory.com/allen-weisselberg-trump-organization-cfo/
