I’m a self professed long time tool junkie. I recently bought the We R Memory Keepers Crop-A-Dile multi hole punch and I’ve really been loving it.
Are there are new or new to you tools that you’ve purchased lately that have enhanced your scrapbooking? Or, are there any older tools you have that you’ve been reaching for recently?

I picked up the Tonic Studios Tim Holtz trimmer. Best 20 bucks I have spent in a long time. Love the size, how it cuts, everything about it.

I should not be reading this thread because now I'll want to buy all the tools you all suggest.

New: Does a piece of a tool count? I’m an ink blending fanatic (usually Distress Oxides) and have happily used Ranger flat foams on their blending tool for years. But Ranger’s new dome shaped foams are a game changer. (I happen to like them more than Scrapbook.com’s and many others I’ve tried.) Old: My Carl trimmer. Can cut a dozen or more pieces of CS at once - up to 30-35 pieces of copy paper - by sliding the cutting piece back and forth. I have other trimmers I like for specific things, and others I’ve donated or given away. This guy (which also comes in a larger size): www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000AE67Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'd been wanting to get the SB.com ones, but wondered if the TH ones were same thing, different label. I have both, or had both, and they are slightly different. The top layer of the dome of the Ranger/TH one is the same soft material as their flat one. The scrapbook.com one feels just a tiny bit less soft. When I first tried them (before Ranger brought out theirs), it felt a little rough against the cardstock. Maybe because I’d used the flat Ranger ones for so long, I didn’t get better results. But some people like them a lot. I’d guess if the flat ones didn’t work well the scrapbook.com ones may be an improvement. The Ranger dome ones instantly allowed me to get good results even when not starting off the card stock and working in. Scrapbook.com sells the Ranger ones too. : )

I'm anxiously waiting for WRMK to release their new "adaptive" tools. It popped up on my Instagram a week or so ago and I can't wait! There are only a few pieces but I'm hoping if they're successful they will make more. I'm sorry I don't know how to link you to it.

Neat, thank you. www.wermemorykeepers.com/new-release-comfort-craft-tools/ ETA Most of the items are available from other companies. The scissors look like Fiskars spring assist “reverse action” scissors, which I love. In fact a pair is hidden in the kitchen; I don’t trust my husband with my tools. That type of craft knife isn’t comfortable for me but others like it. Lighted/magnified tweezers have been around a long time, as are magnifying glasses. Marketing - they’re probably counting on crafters buying from their curated collection.

Older tool is my Martha Stewart circle cutter. I also reach for my Lucky 8 large punches often. With just 8 presses, you have a pretty, large shape to use in so many ways.

I've been using my edge distressing tool a lot lately - I have the Tim Holtz one. It's really great at it's job, even tho it is a 1 trick pony!

I’ve got the Tonic Studios 12“ bed guillotine cutter - new because the smaller one broke after 13 years. I’ve done very little crafting while moving my supplies around the house, but this gets used for all, sorts of stuff - trimming school photos, paper booklets for art, custom planner pages. I will never be without a working paper cutter.
I was eyeing up the Tim Holtz scissors with their big handles, but I unpacked my Tonic spring loaded precision ones and they still work great.

Speaking of scissors I recently bought the CM micro tip scissors and I really like them. I see they have a new cup caddy that I will probably buy as well. I still have and use the original one that I bought probably back in 2005, but I could use a second 😁
One of my oldest and most used tools (since my beloved MM trimmer broke) is my Mrs. Grossman’s tweezers. I love those and use them all of the time.

I have the CM version and I love the straight edge one and I use it every time I put down sticker titles. I don't think I have used the other configurations.

My idea is to use the circular ones and alphabet stickers to write out the names of places we visit on a trip we want to take to Tennessee on this paper. I just hope that the idea in my head sort of matches what actually transpires.

I have both sets of them and they are pretty handy. I found them at Tuesday Morning a few years ago.

I'm not a "tool junkie" (as my credit card breathes a sigh of relief). After the obligatory paper trimmer & adhesive, my most used tool is an inexpensive clear t-square ruler (that I've had for at least two decades)! I also use stamps, dies, punches, stencils, & embossing folders on occasion.

Not a new tool, but one that I have found I use frequently is my stamp platform. It has really helped me like using stamps.

Yes! I love my Mrs. Grossman's tweezers, I use them on almost every layout. One of my other favorite tools is my Perfect Layers. WRMK has since bought them. Perfect Layers - Amazon

Not a tool so much but I recently picked up a soft Stampin up oil cloth/vinyl bin with a snap button strap at a scrapbooking de stash, I have never fallen in love with such a mundane item before. I have shelves on brackets above my desk and I have that bin hanging off the brackets and I use that thing every single day, such a small thing but I no longer have to roll my chair to the other end of my desk every 5 minutes to put offcuts in the bin. I also bought the WRMK crop-a-dile hole punch a few months back for making gift tags and I do not know why I waited so long to buy one, it certainly makes setting eyelets a whole lot easier and quieter than the really old school punch and hammer I used to use.

I love the multi-hole Crop-A-Dile, too, but then I love pretty much all of the Crop-A-Dile tools --Big Bite, corner chompers, etc. I've also been getting back into using my Vagabond lately and love the ease of the push button to leave my wrist/shoulder unbothered. Has anyone ever painted or altered their Vagabond? I'm thinking of ditching that brown and painting it (just the exterior) something a bit cheerier that might vibe with my craft room a bit better.

I have not painted mine, as I love its distressed vibe, but I did take the guides off the platform on each side. My side guides have always leaned in a little bit, making it aggravating to seat the cutting sandwiches. I like it SO MUCH BETTER. It is open now, just like all of the manual machines.

Oh, that's interesting about the guides. Good to know that that's even a possibility.

i am a took junkie too. the one i am debating right now is the Tim Holtz deckle trimmer. do i need it? probably not. do i want it? yup. why? i don't know. probably because it's a tool of some kind. the only reason i don't own it yet is because they are either sold out or being sold for an arm and a leg. i guess that's just the cosmos saving me from myself.

Other than my ATG (which I could not live without) and my cutter (do not love any of the 12 I have, but I need one), my favorite tool is my envelope maker. Every time I have an ugly-ish paper, I make an envelope from it.
The sad, sad news is I have misplaced it. I have torn my upstairs apart looking for it, but am afraid it is in the basement. Thinking about tackling that this weekend.

A while ago I bought the Tim Holtz 6x12 Tonic trimmer. I really like the size for traveling to crops, etc.
