How would you describe your current scrapping style? TIA.

EM:
Eclectic and Messy! I grab, change, mix & match, switch around any number of products depending on my mood and the topic at hand. I scraplift other crafter's pages and cards, or use sketches, but sometimes all that colour and pattern has a mind of its own, so I am not sure if my model even wants to be associated with my final result! I scrap to tell stories, and alternate between one photo and many. Most of my LO's are planned as two pagers, or they end up being coordinated with a facing page in their album. This Paper Wishes article from a few years ago describes several styles. I think mine would show up in Ephemera, but I think of that as including actual memoribilia of an event. I like my name better.

I'd say traditional 12x12 paper scrapper, multi-photo, basic technique, minimal journaling, with a tendency toward a bold, colorful, busy look. link to my Flickr gallery

Clean and linear. I do a mix of sizes, traditional and pocket pages.

I enjoy staying 'on trend' however I still am primarily a story teller so my layouts tend to be more photo heavy with lots of journaling.
I don't enjoy the clean linear style like Cathy Z, but just about anything else I'll try.
I'm a failure at following page maps because I loathe having to resize/print photos. If I can't crop at 4x6 easily with the paper trimmer then I'm not scrapping it or it has to work full size into the design.
I do enjoy making a nice layout though, so I'll CASE others layouts to get the 'hang' of a new technique and then venture on my own. I truly enjoy the process.

I love shabby chic but I also love modern styles like maggie holmes, so shabby modern? Is that a thing? LOL

I need to figure out how to create a Flickr gallery. I think I set one up, but I can't remember!

Clean and simple with mainly pocket pages in various sizes all mixed together. I'm almost the same. I like clean lines and fairly simple layouts and pretty much only do pocket pages and TN's. My style "guru" is Heba from My Little Journal.

I’d say clean but not necessarily simple. I do enjoy embellishments but not too much. Middle of the road 12x12 paper scrapper with no mixed media who is aware of brands, trends, YouTube, FB, and ig.

simple, linear, cardstock heavy, usually photo heavy (although I do love one-photo layouts also)...lightly embellished photo albums really
8.5x11 almost exclusively although I do the occasional 8x8

i like the free style of collage. i'm not a super matchy matchy person. coordinating papers are fine but i don't need to use an entire collection and only that collection. i also like muted colors and not pastels or primary colors.

I have scrapbooked the same way, since 1996, when I started. Excepted I elimated the sticker sneeze(tiny stickers).
8.5 x 11, stickers(medium to bigger), matted photos, mix and match patterned papers, more than one photo per layout, frames, cut out(not sure of the exact name), no journaling, bright bold colors, very little pastel colors.
I call it old school style.

Eclectic other than the fact that I do 12x12 (unless I'm doing a mini-album) and put the date in the bottom right hand corner of the page...otherwise it's "anything goes". Some LOs are simple and clean, others are distressed/mixed media, and others are somewhere in between. I do anywhere from one photo to as many pages as it takes to get the story of the event told. I don't usually make mini-albums "just because", but I do WITL and DD every year along with a vacation album (not usually a mini though!) There's a fine line I hover near of "get it done because I've been doing it so long" and "having fun creating something and I don't care if anyone every looks at the albums".

Simple, colourful, mostly single photos on a layout, embellishment clusters, multi sized pages and pockets. My style has changed a few times over the years but fundamentally I have always been a bit of a simple scrapper. Having the light bulb moment of being able to use different sized pages and adding in pocket pages to my albums was a game changer for me and has encouraged me to scrapbook more.

This is my style, too. I prefer white based to cream, and bright or pastels to muddier earth tones.

I think ScrapbookMyLife described my style and I haven't thought about it being old school! I think the modern product is what keeps my old school style feeling more fresh to me. My style is fast, probably 30 minutes a layout or 2page spread 8.5x11. I do lots of patterned and theme paper with layering and framing. I like to group photos in the center and use theme or related stickers. I use lots of pop dots and foam tape - love the 3D elements. I try to tell the story of the photos with the papers, stickers and other embellies. It makes it pretty obvious what is going on by the product I choose. These two recent layouts are very typical of my style.

My style is fairly simple, I guess. I am not into piles of layers and embellishments galore. I love all that fun stuff, but use them in moderation. Focal point is always the photos, not the decoration. Writing is always present, not as wordy as Ali, but the story details matter to me. I think my style is similar to Heba, but with more journaling.

Masculine, bright & bold colors a lot, lots of layers, stamping, not "messy" but a little cluttered. My style is all over the place!

I like using bright colors, embellishment clusters, layering of patterned paper and white space for everything to breath. I use lots of sprinkle-y bits (enamel dots, flicked paint/sprays). I prefer embellishing on the diagonal, rather than the "visual triangle". I often have things off-centered and crooked/not straight. One page layouts of 1-2 photos. I like large titles and tend to do very little journaling. Instagram

Several years ago, someone described my style as clean and classic. That is pretty accurate, but for some it may conjure up images of Creative Memories pages, which is not at all my style.
I love color, stamps, and embellishments, especially if they help tell the story of my photos. I am more of a historical scrapper than an artsy one (no mixed media on my pages), but I used to teach layout design, and I try to make each layout pleasing to the eye. It’s one reason I am such a slow scrapper. I have to be happy with the look of the layout when I’m done, and I refuse to glue anything down till I am satisfied with it.

My personal style involves lots of layers, Nuvo Drops, and peeling things up and moving them. As I tend to say, “It’s not a layout by me until I’ve peeled something up!”
A friend of mine was looking through the current Creative Scrapbooker magazine and told me she saw an “Amy layout” and then realized it was Amy’s layout! I had to laugh. It seems so foreign to me that anyone could look at something and recognize it as my style.
