I'm on the hunt for an eyeliner that looks great but doesn't break the bank. Add to that the fact that it's so hard to get to the mall make-up counters and I don't feel like paying a ton of money for on-line orders and I don't need enough product to qualify for free shipping.
Any and all suggestions are appreciated!!

I use a dark brown crayon eyeliner (looks like a pencil eyeliner, but is softer, and easier for me to apply).
I just grab a cheapy at Walgreen's for something like $3.
I don't have any experience with high-end eyeliners.

The jordana 12 hour made to last pencils are nice at Walgreens but you do have to sharpen them. The Jane automatic is nice too - available at Ulta. For a felt tip liner, I also like Jordana Fabuliner.

Cover Girl Perfect Point Plus. It has a built in sharpener and smudging sponge.

Revlon Color Stay Eyeliner. Around $5.00 at WM or $7-9 at Target and other drug stores.

Glimmersticks for me too. You don't have to pay shipping if you have an Avon lady local to you. If you don't know one, ask an elementary school teacher. Nearly every elementary school in the country has an Avon lady that leaves books in the break room.

Add me to the Avon glimmersticks. You can get them on sales for like 2 for $4.00. Doesn't smudge, waterproof and the tip stays sharp. I love them!

I switched to ELF. I used to use Este Lauder eye liner. I lie the ELF brand much better. It's easier to get, the color is better, less expensive and it goes on better.

Depends what you want, a liquid black liner - I saw a bunch of youtubers race about NYC black liquid liner (not NYX) My new favorite is Maybelline Kajal it's a very thick pencil that glides on easily, it's named after the Middle Eastern eye kohl

I have bought Revlon and that was great.
I have MAC ones and while they are more expensive they don't come off without using a make up wipe. They are really good too.

I have had a difficult time finding a eyeliner that doesn't smudge, stays on all day and is easy on the pocket book. I love, love, love Maybeline master drama. link great stuff. I also use a wet eyeliner brush and black eyeshadow which I have loved. jen

I've started using Maybelline EyeStudio GEL liner. I find it is a bit better with a primer on my lid

I use NYC black liquid liner. When I was looking to switch to liquid liner, I found I liked this felt tip the best. It is super easy to use.

I recently bought a very inexpensive NYC pencil eye liner at Walmart for less than $3 and I love it. It glides on so easily.

In a fit of fiscal responsibility, I bought a couple of ELF products at Target. My son had bought me a a eye palate for Christmas and I really liked it, so I figured it was cheap and I should give more a chance. So far, with the exception of the mascara (which I didn't like at all,) everything I have tried, I will/would buy again. I haven't tried all their products- for example, I rarely wear full on foundation (I like to wear tinted moisturizers) so I haven't tried their foundations. And since everything is only a couple of dollars max, I don't feel guilty for buying more than I need.

I really like the Rimmel gel eye liner. It works great and the brush is built in. It does take practice to get it on, but it lasts all day and doesn't smudge.

I do but but my purple and brown pencils were almost finished so I thought before I buy the exact same shade of colors (which will last years) let me research reviews from beauty bloggers and youtubers. I bought a $20 smashbox pencil in purple which is part of their no sharpening necessary line. Then I saw a magazine ad for the kajal and it looked really innovative and the same concept as the smashbox so I bought that in brown and I prefer the Maybelline one.
