No time to scrap? Snap, instead! You don't need to be playing along with any of our challenges to post your June photos here.
If you are a member of a June team, you earn one point for each photo you post here.
If you get time to scrap them later this month, count TWO points for every one of the posted photos you get onto a page.
For June, the theme is Dads & Grads. So any photos you &/or your family snap of grads or dads in June will earn a BONUS of TWO POINTS.
A photo of a Dad AND a Grad together will earn an extra point!
Let's get snappin'!

Hmmmm, it's not Father's day here until September, and not graduation here until December hahaha!! I'm sure I can find plenty of other photos to share though. Hopefully something a bit more exciting than the 729,688 photos of me taking the dog for a walk that I have taken since March 2020.

But AussieMeg, those photos of your walks are beautiful! I don't take nearly enough photos of the daily stuff. Thinking I should take my camera out around the yard just to see if I can still operate it. I knew the grad date would be off for you, but did not realize that Fathers' Day is different there as well. Sorry. I had been considering something about the light/dark of this time of year. In Russia, they talk about the Long Night in December which mirrors your June. Do Australians put up outdoor house lights this time of year? I think the reason I love Christmas decorations here is that they light up the hours of darkness in December.

No, nobody really put up lights this times of year. We still do it at Christmas, but we don't get to enjoy them until after 9pm when it starts getting dark! Here are photos #729,689 to 729,692 of me taking Boris for a walk. It is the second day of winter here, but it feels more like spring. Unfortunately the run of nice weather is ending soon, and it's only going to get to 13 C on Friday, with a 90% chance of rain. I love the top photo of Boris squinting!

On Monday my husband, granddaughter and I volunteered at the Colonial Museum Farm site where DGD spent time watering the plants in the garden. I took quite a few photos. She reminded me of Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary Yesterday the historic carousel in our area opened for the first time since Covid and I took DGD. She was scared to death but I managed to get one smile once she got comfortable, around the 3rd ride.

myboysnme , that little one is sweet, no matter which role she is playing. I would want to be scrapping those pics almost as soon as I took them! And your grad is stunning, jeremysgirl. Love the pic of her looking around the pillar. And with her dad of course.

I have a dad and a grad as well! If going from white belt to yellow counts as a grad lol. If not that’s ok because I love this photo of these two. 😁

I haven't had a chance to look at all my pictures but I posted these 3 to facebook - I took 2, someone else took the 3rd. I hate the photo of myself! Oh well. It was my lunch hour from work. I took off my scrubs, my scrub-hat, my shield. Pulled my hair out of its pony tail, gave my hair a brush. Not a stitch of makeup. Put on clothes I had jammed into my bag. Flip flops on my feet. It was SO BRIGHT on those stairs - none of us could really open our eyes. And we had to take off our sunglasses. Mine are prescription and I look so weird without glasses!!! It was a "walk through" event - no diploma, no awards, no names called out. It was pretty lame. The kids got a cap/gown and photo op without a mask. It made me so sad really. Katie looked lovely, although she is fighting a stress fracture (we think - bone scan pending) in her foot so couldn't wear her customary heels, and is in birkenstocks! katie grad tony kirsten katie on stairs by kirstendrew, on Flickr katie looking down dad joke by kirstendrew, on Flickr katie grad at gci by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Glad you have a few photos of the event, kitbop, even if you wish they were better. You look like the proud mom you are, and that’s all that counts. My DVD’s grad was distance as well, with each grad making an appointment for their couple of minutes with the school principal. Here is one of shots he shared with me.
