The silly ones that my kid tells me, Take a picture, mom!"
I'm currently looking at a pic of my son wearing a Dollar Tree mustache & goatee, that he had said, " I'm middle aged (kid name). "
And that's my title.
So easy.
He did the heavy lifting for me, so to speak.
Now to just find paper to match.
What's your favorite pics to scrap currently?

Disney! Dear child will be 13 in two months and the attitude is strong in her. I like looking at happy times and smiles since getting a smile takes an act of Congress right now.

I post this and my husband sends me a picture of my daughter playing with her Littlest Pet Shop toys with her grandmother. She’s got a huge smile on her face. Now I’m crying. I miss those days so much it hurts.

I miss those days so much it hurts. I understand completely!! I can physically feel an ache inside when I look at photos of my now 16yo son when he was a toddler. He was forever kissing me and telling me he loved me. So I guess scrapping photos of him when he was little are my favourite (in a bitter sweet kind of way) photos to scrap. And also summer / beach photos because I love summer so much. I guess I could sneak out and take photos of DS and his feral mates sneaking cigarettes and beer?!

She tells me I'm the greatest mom ever and I have recorded her saying this because I know this will change when she's tween. My favorite photos to scrap are Disney as well because we've never had a bad time there, even when it was pouring down rain.

The every day ones. Those little moments that aren’t planned.
Also. Disney. Always Disney.

The everyday moments with my kids. Those are the stories I enjoy telling, because they do go by so quickly. I wish I had done a better job documenting those things I thought I'd never forget and sadly have. Like the cute things the kids say over and over again, nicknames, the sweet things they do. Thankfully I do this for my younger two now, but some of those sweet memories are so faint with my older ones!

I love autumn photos. I loved taking the grands to the apple orchard or corn maze. They are teens now, so it's more like go to the Mall of America, LOL.

It will get better, middle school/early teen years are the worst! My favorite photos to scrap are the photos of my kids when they were little, just doing everyday things around the house and being silly. The ones that show their personalities and joy in the little things. So precious For Mother’s Day this year I asked both of my kids (now 19 and 23) to send me photos of them in their high school and college years, photos taken by friends, etc. that we as parents had never seen. These are my new favorites

Events or holidays because I suck at journaling. Photos usually speak for themselves. Picking out papers and embellishments are easy. Soccer game? Soccer related embellishments and paper. I'm not creative. I like being crafty.

I admit I've taken a (way too long) break from scrapping, but I've recently printed some photos to hopefully get back into the seat. When I was scrapping frequently my favorite subjects were my friends, events I went to, and places I visited. Concerts, hockey games, museums, a new city, etc. It's the same now! I'm childfree so kids aren't in my photos, unless it's a picture from when my cousins were small, or an old photo of me and a friend or family member. I've scrapped pets as well.

Travel.
I also have two boys that will pose for almost anything. They are as goofy as can be (as full on adults) and always give me a lot to scrap. They have also chosen ladies who are friends and also love a good photo opportunity. I just ordered three sets of photos for about 15 layouts, so I have plenty to scrap for a while.

My first love is always travel photos. I've been enjoying doing a PL album to capture the small moments of living through the last 18 months.

Holidays because as a major theme scrapper I have tons of product.
Weddings - theme stuff as above
Really adorable photos of my granddaughter. The ones that let me use really pretty or fancy papers and embellies
I also love doing my living history photos because I can use so much vintage product and I love those photos anyway. I am going to work on some of them at a crop on Friday.

Ones that allow my layout to all come together!
Some pictures are so difficult to scrap.
So any picture that allows me to pull out paper with ease, come up with a great title, and embellishments all fall into place is a win for me.
