Trouble in paradise?

Definitely vaguebooking. She's also talked about having anxiety in the past, but I don't know a lot of detail. I don't keep up very well with this stuff. I know for a while there was this thing going around about being positive! I think it had to do with thumbs downs people were getting on their you tube videos.

JM lost her mother in law last year in June. She had cancer, not sure how long was the battle, but if she was close to her that can make a year difficult.
It's on IG post, I remember seeing it last year and just looked up the date. I don't even follow her on IG not sure how I learned about it

I think Jennifer has suffered from anxiety for many years, maybe since a child, and has been fairly open talking about it. I can’t imagine the pandemic helped. She had cut back on videos for a while because of kids being at home for school.

Before she was well known she taught at LSS’s around the country, including one near me, not that I was stamping then. One of the managers told me Jennifer talked about anxiety, and was generous and helpful to every student. She gave away everything she brought, apparently.

Her blog posts sounded like she was very close to her mother-in-law, who as azcrafter said, battled cancer, and passed away last year. Who knows what else goes on in someone’s life?

On a different note, I’ve wondered in the past how difficult it might be, especially considering anxiety in her case, to be close to people in the industry who manufacture products and who want their products to be chosen for blogs and youtube. Jennifer can’t pick them all for her yearly faves list, and even in regular youtube/blog posts she has to choose from mountain of possibilities. So I wonder about that balancing act of friendships with sellers.

I’d guess relationships with some owners with whom she’s had extremely long relationships and who seem to encourage others in the industry, like Hero Arts, who she also worked for, would be fine. (Compound sentence award!) But people are people and it can’t always be smooth sailing.

Sounds like something I’d do (deleting the wrong thing, etc.)

BTW, I just looked at her IG account and saw a post with all the photos in Florida, where she said this year was so difficult for so many, and [paraphrasing] friendships still grew. If that was the one, what came to mind was friendships that may have evolved out of the event last year when well known crafters/artists turned over their IG accounts for a day to an artists/crafters of color. I think I recognize the woman who took over JM’s account but will have to re-look.
