President Biden and your first lady have arrived in the UK. They're in the UK for the G7 summit and he will be visiting the Queen at Windsor Castle before he leaves. Normally they land at Stansted Airport but he and Mrs Biden flew in on Airforce One to RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk. The summit is being held in Cornwall which will be beautiful if the weather we have now continues. It's his first overseas visit since becoming President.  |

I just watched a report about this and did feel for the residents. Obviously there is intense security, steel fences, armed police etc and apparently they didn't get any notice! One poor couple had just arrived there on holiday not knowing this was going to be going on...mind you, it has been known about, they just obviously didn't put 2 and 2 together.

The American journalists flying to the UK had to wait for a replacement plane, six hours, I believe, as the first plane had cicadas in the engine.

Oh what a shame for them. Normally they arrive at Stansted so I can imagine what the disruption must be like for the locals at Mildenhall - it's not that big not to be affected by it all. |

G7 Cornwall Restrictions announced was referring to Mildenhall which is about 300 if not more miles away. sounds as if he's continuing to wherever he is staying on Marine 1. |

The sound is a bit iffy at the beginning but it gets better and if you don't want to listen to all the music skip to39.00 when President Biden starts addressing the troops.
