Hi. I’m new here and am trying to get some feedback about card making tools. Or more specifically, finding them in stock to buy them. I‘d appreciate some feedback.
I’m getting back into the arts - specifically card making. There are other types of tools, but for the style I’ve chosen, a good stamping tool and glass work surface are very important. My first choices are a Misti stamper V2.0 and a Tim Holtz Glass Media Mat. But…
It looks like they are out of stock everywhere. Anyone know why this is happening? Anyone else having this problem?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome bookemdanno! I don't have any specific info about those two tools but I know that in general, shortages are a problem everywhere, with the effects of COVID still being felt in worldwide production and shipping, so that might be the culprit. I hope you can find the items you want soon! |

Folks,
Many thanks for the feedback. I was able to order a Misti from Taylored Expressions, so I set with a Misti.
For the glass mat, unfortunately it appears that EllenHuston has the travel version only. The good news is that it looks like the WeRMemory glass mat is in stock at a local JoAnn store. I’ll stop over there today.

Dan, in case you didn’t go to JoAnn, Mary Polanco reviewed a newer glass mat and one of the options is magnetic. If I didn’t have - and do like very much - my Tim Holtz glass mat, I’d by this one in the magnetic version.
