I went to TJ Maxx this weekend, and they had absolutely ZERO luggage. They usually have a pretty big selection. And then I noticed at Walmart earlier this week that their luggage section was bare too. Are they being all bought up? Did they stop making them during the pandemic and now they have to play catch up?

You could check Tuesday Morning. They have had a decent selection in the past, but I don't remember seeing as much as usual lately.

I tried to order luggage on Prime Days but all the good deals said “should ship in one to two months!” It’s needed for a trip in September so that won’t work.
I looked around at other online sites too with similar results. I have no idea why, but you seem to be right about the ‘shortage.’

I dont think its Covid, necessarily. Probably also because of the Suez canal blockage. Its going to take a looooong time to recover from that.

I just left there and noticed the same thing, there was luggage but none of the usual cute stuff. Just plain, and not much of it.

Kohls had a great supply of Samsonite when I went last week. We usually buy our luggage at Kohl’s.
