I am sitting in my basement with my animals. There's an actual confirmed tornado in my area. Jeremy won't leave the race on tv upstairs. He's a dummy.

jeremysgirl Praying the tornado passes you by. His cuteness isn't overloaded due to his velociraptor tendencies. But he is a darling. Delta Dawn He just turned 10 weeks old. So not yet. But he is crate trained and when he wakes or rouses we know we need to get him out. Today after his lunch, he barked and then started sniffing around which was my cue so I got him out quick. He does most outside and if I'm not watching or listening to him he will have an accident inside. No accidents yesterday and so far today but right now it's still on us. But again he's just a little guy.

jeremysgirl, your blog is very compelling. I truly enjoy reading it. You have a lot of great stuff to say. Marina, he's so adorable, but he's like a newborn. You have something cute and cuddly to keep you up all night. He's so fluffy and sweet.

OH CRAP...check in when you can The tornado passed us but the rain hasn't let up. I'm having flooding in my basement that isn't pleasant either. Too much rain in too short a time.

In case you want a photo of the recipe. And here is the recipe. A bit different than the peach one I posted the other day. 3 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar, 1 teaspoon brown sugar, 3 tablespoons honey Dijon, 1 garlic minced, 1/4 cup vegetable stock, parsley. Mix together and put aside. 4 medium ripe plums, sliced. 4 thin chicken breast, salt and pepper. 1/2 cup vegetable stock. Olive oil. Heat olive oil in braiser over medium low heat (between 3 and 4 for me). Add chicken and brown each side about 7 minutes. Add in 1/2 cup vegetable stock, bring to boil, cover, and reduce heat to simmer. Simmer 20 minutes. Take lid and create a slit, raise heat to medium to reduce liquid. Cook 5 minutes. Take off lid and pour sauce mixture over chicken and add in plums. Simmer low for 5 minutes.

leannec, glad your migraine passed. I wish I had meds that helped with my head pressure at times. I tried a sample of imitrex years ago and it increased my nausea to the point that I never wanted to take that med again. Marina, what a cute puppy you have. jeremysgirl, that's too close for comfort. I put in a new sump pump, braced two walls, and waterproofed everything in my basement. One summer we had 6 inches rain and it backflowed up drains from city and another summer, it flooded after 10 inches rain. It costs me quite a bit but so worth it. Peace of mind. I'm surprised we haven't had more tornados and hail with the unbearable heat lately. We finally had some rain showers. Not much, just 0.25 inches but it was so needed. Delta Dawn, I'd buy the bosch. Great news about your ds's job! Exciting times. We ate at a Mexican restaurant to celebrate my mother's birthday today. It was so fun! She hardly ever gets to eat Mexican because my dad doesn't like it. We told him today was her day and he can always have tacos. 🤣 He had shrimp fajitas and loved them. Anyways, mom was so cute as the wait staff put the sombrero on her and sang to her. She didn't anticipate that.
