Ds has a birthday party today. The mom said the kid (turning 11) wants a Roblox gift card but probably told the other kids the same thing. She suggested something for outside. I’m leaning towards the GC since that is what he wants, unless I can come up with some good ideas for outdoor activities for a kid who isn’t really into sports. Any suggestions?

Why would you think she told the other kids that? If that is what she said he wants, then that is what I would get him. If he got more than one gift card, I am sure he will be fine with it. |

Why would you think she told the other kids that? If that is what she said he wants, then that is what I would get him. If he got more than one gift card, I am sure he will be fine with it. I think he probably told the other kids that if they asked.  . But I agree—I think I would rather get him what he wants than something he *might* like. |

Get the GC with a box of movie theatre candy or a giant candy bar. DS loved that sort of gift at that age.

We went to target to see what They had. Last year we went to the lake with them and they liked the pop up basketball hoop that we had so we got that and a roblox GC.
