She has food and water.
She’s been on 2 good walks and just went outside to potty.
She’s had several treats tonight.
I’ve played fetch with her.
I’ve played tug of war with her.
She’s had multiple belly rubs and doggy massages.
She has both of her Nyla bones here on the couch.
She has approximately 143 toys at her disposal.
I don’t here any fireworks.
There are no tennis balls under the couch.
Yet here she is…standing in front of me….whimpering and whining. Not because she’s sick (she was running around like a maniac an hour ago). Clearly, she wants something. I just don’t know what!

Any bad weather coming? My dogs do this when storms are coming. It’s not raining now, but thunderstorms are in the forecast… 🤷🏼♀️ |

Yeah, she probably hears thunder or fireworks that you don't. Or the alien invasion. Or maybe it's just existential dread.

Our dog could hear thunder way before we did. He would start acting weird, and I would think, "WTF is wrong with you?" Shortly after, I would hear the thunder. Every.Damn.Storm. And then I would think, "WTF is wrong with me? When am I going to catch on?" 😂

Can you get any response when asking her?
With my pup, he will come and. stand close to me, sometimes putting his paws on my chest, and stares into my face. I say, "What??" And he either jumps down and runs to what he wants, looking back to make sure I am following him, or he will look at me and then look at the item, whether it is a prized toy just out of his reach or he has spotted the treat jar and suddenly realizes he NEEDS a treat. He looks back and forth between the treat jar and my face, wagging his tail as if he is thinking, "Come on, you can figure this out. Try harder!" It cracks me up. And just to hassle him, I start pointing to things close to the treat jar and asking if that is what he wants. When I finally point at the treat jar, he just about falls over with excitement. Geez, I love that dog.

what kind of dog do you have? ours has started being very bossy about what she wants.
it can be that she wants dog food water. or she wants her food on the floor. or the food is too low in the bowl. you can remedy this by either filling the bowl or taking off her collar.
some times it is a walk.

Mine does this when he wants me to go to bed. Some days he’s tried at 8:30 but usually he whines at 10 after going out 1 last time.
He also does this when he wanted to boss DD around, she had to be in whichever room he wanted her in or he’d whine at her.

Do you have a smoke alarm in need of a new battery? My dog gets weird when it does that little beep letting us know we need a new battery.
