Any guesses? Maybe this time it will be in the purple family.
The new color is called Prize Ribbon and is another blue. Jennifer McGuire just posted a YouTube video using it.

I hoped for peach last time and there’s a gap, but in the announcement video Tim said he doesn’t choose based on gaps.
Seems like we have a lot of violets (aka purples), but maybe I think that since I’m not a big violet user. (Though looking at a grayed violet wall right now.) Quite a few colors exist in all the ROYGBIV families. A dark blue without green or too much gray is missing for me. And peach.
Could he go gray? There isn’t one that doesn’t have a pretty fairly strong undertone of blue or green. He’s such a fan of neutrals and hasn’t done any in a while. No more brown please.

Yellow, peach, purple, and navy seem to be the top guesses in my Facebook group. Peach would certainly make Shimelle happy. I’d love another blue leaning purple or navy. Chipped Sapphire is a lovely dark blue but doesn’t cut it when I’m searching for navy!

A blue violet based color would be lovely. I think Shimelle may be right with peach.

I'm pretty sure TH said there wouldn't be a peach release any time soon. I think all the colors were decided long ago and he would've teased it if it was a possibility this year (a sort of "well maybe wait and see" rather than a sorry no, which was what I gathered he said - could be wrong about that though!) Blues and purples seem to be popular, a Christmas color would make sense in terms of Christmas releases coming out this month. I have no idea. There are already too many colors in my (unpopular) opinion! lol I get easily overwhelmed and my budget is hurting.

I’d buy them all especially pressed grape and past midnight.

Tim just said it will be announced next Saturday. I agree with all of the above, but peach would probably be my number one.

Using this picture of oxide colors previously released, I just hope whatever it is is bright and vibrant. I tend to use those inks more than the earth tones.

Clearly, I have nothing better to do with my time tonight, so I did a little research on the latest colors that have been released. 2020 May Speckled Egg (gray blue) August Crackling Campfire (red orange) November Rustic Wilderness (green) 2021 February Kitsch Flamingo (pink) April Salvaged Patina (blue green) July ? Given that Salvaged Patina is a greenish blue color, I don't think we will see a green or blue in July. Because of the other recent releases, I don't think it will be in the pink or red/orange family. All this to say, I have no idea what the next color will be.

I have little hope, but I’m dreaming of a true red.

I’d still like a buttery yellow, mint chip green or maybe a periwinkle blue/purple shade. I like all the navy suggestions!
