So, I know I am later to the party but I have been watching RuPaul’s Drag Race and just got to season 6, episode 10, the drag wedding episode which has been pulled everywhere. I googled, but all I can find is Reddit discussions about how “cringe” the episode was, but no real specifics. Anyone watch and remember or have any idea why it would have been pulled?

Hmm, guess he wasn't happy with his makeover.

I would think they have participants sign releases so that they cannot just change their mind later on. Him pulling it makes me want to see it now.

Thank you, yes, I believe it was. It was a wedding episode and usually those involve other participants. It seems like it was just pulled in the past few months, so odd. Thank you for finding that, but it does make me more curious to see it!

I remember it well "turn heterosexual grooms into blushing brides"
The basketballer guy was not on board from the beginning, he made various comments about how his team mates were going to react, like, "when my team mates see me like this, it's gonna be a disaster man" and "there'll be some serious questioning" and "I don't want gay people checking me out in the locker room either" then after they spoke to him on the runway he walked off the stage and vomited. It seems he didn't really understand that he was going to be put in drag, and he was very negative about the whole thing and it was uncomfortable to watch.
I just checked - it's still up here, so it must just be down in the USA. Interesting that he asked to have it removed, whether it's because he is still worried about other people making assumptions about him, or because he comes across as so homophobic.

i just rewatched season 6 recently(my fave for bianca and adore) and that episode was still there in canada anyway...
i remember it because i did wonder why he agreed to it. he seemed so uncomfortable and definitely not as positive as any of the other guys.
although he did seem to be genuinely disappointed in the feedback for his queen? so i am hoping he wanted it pulled because he came across as so homophobic - not because he is homophobic.

Thank you for the details, I do appreciate it. I just finished that season and it was great, so far the Drag Queens I like best have won each season. I just started the next season, so far I don’t like anyone.
I appreciate the insight on to what happened, it is only pulled in the US, so weird someone could have signed what I would wager is no less then a million waivers could have it pulled.

Wait until you get to season 12. They filmed the whole season and then just after filming ended, it came out that one of the Queens had been involved in multiple cases of sexual misconduct.
They decided to still air the season, but recut it so that this person was edited out of each episode as much as possible. I think it was the right call, but it makes for some strange viewing at times.
I really like season 7 - Katya is my all time favourite, then Trixie (she grows on you) & Ginger
