I finally got to visit Trader Joe's yesterday, my first trip in months. I live about an hour away so I can't go nearly as often as I would like. I have been keeping a running list of things I wanted to buy there and sadly many of them were seasonal and no longer available. But I bought these delicious new Fruity Gummy Candies that I highly recommend. I don't know if they are seasonal, the tropical flavors suggest they might be, but I wish I had bought more than one bag. Or that they came in a bigger bag like the Scandinavian Swimmers. This link www.traderjoesreviews.com/product/trader-joes-fruity-gummy-candies-reviews/ has a picture and review. The person who reviewed them didn't like them that much because they are the harder type gummy but that's my favorite kind.

Thanks for the recommendation. I love gummy bears. I often buy the 12 flavor Albanese bears. I'll definitely look for the gummy fruit the next time I'm at TJ.

I feel super privileged that I live a block and a half from (1/2 block up and 1 block over) my TJoe's. No waiting for me!

I try to steer clear of the candy at Trader Joe’s because it’s rare I don’t like (But yuck to those imitation starbursts) them. A new product I definitely recommend is the key lime kettle corn. Umm, I’m pretty sure one bag is one serving, didn’t check, but I’m just going to assume it is😜
And assuming you’ve all heard about the Brazil Nut Body butter Thayer smells like Bum Bum cream. If you like that scent, it’s a must try.

I just read about the gummies again today, and the writer was in favor of them. But, it was a "no" on the key lime kettle corn. I have to say that doesn’t even tempt me: in fact, I think my teeth hurt just thinking about it because the flavors don’t seem to go together.
I am bummed that the article also mentioned the peach ice cream has already come and gone, and I didn’t try it.

When you say ‘harder gummy’ do you mean hard like juju beans? Which I don’t like, but I used to eat every once in awhile because that’s what my grandmother liked and always offered us. I haven’t seen juju beans in a long time to have that trip down memory lane. Gramma called them gum drops when she didn’t call them juju beans.

Are they like jelly beans with the sugar shell or crust? These gummies are not like jelly beans. I would describe them more as leathery, kind of like Swedish Fish. I saw them compared to Dots candy.

I love swedish fish! Are the Scandinavian swimmers like those?
My TJ favorite treat is the mini peanut butter cups.
I have a $25 gift card in my bag from one of my students. Sadly I live an hour from a TJ's. BUT I love them. Wish we lived closer. Next time I'm in town I'll have to go see what they have.

The lobsters are closest to Swedish Fish flavor and you can get a mini bag of just lobsters now. But I like the assortment. And if you like sour gummies, there is also a sour version of the Scandinavian Swimmers

We don’t live close to one, so it’s a special trip and it’s not worth it to go now because all we would get is the barbecue Spice rub with coffee in it. We are on a gluten/ sugar/alcohol free diet.
