My son had hearing loss as a baby due to fluid. We did the rounds of tubes & surgeries. Congrats to your daughter!!! I can feel the excitement in your words

Fabulous news! DD was about the same age when she was "exited" from speech therapy. I cried because I loved her SLP, who went above and beyond any previous services we'd had in figuring out the best approach to help DD.

Oh that is just the best news, so happy for your precious dd! My 19 yo son has some hearing loss in the high frequency range, but fortunately not enough to affect his speech. We didn't find out about it until 2nd grade. Therapy is so important, and it sounds like you have have done a remarkable job with your dd! Congrats!

That's awesome! My DS (10th grade) has been in speech since he was 2 1/2, and we are down to 30 minutes per 9 weeks. I'm a little surprised they didn't want to dismiss him a couple of weeks ago at our ARD. I know it feels great to know she accomplished being dismissed from speech!

Yay! So happy for your daughter. My oldest had a speech delay and was in speech therapy for years and graduated out of it a couple of years ago. It's an achievement!
