I'm so ridiculously pleased to have completely finished up a pack of MME rubons from 2006, from the pink and brown phase.
What things have you used, or completely used up recently?

I used Prima FLOWERS on a page - the original ones in the tall jars - and it sure did make me happy! Oh, and they were those dusty 2006 colours - the dull pink/blue/cream bottle.

I used the very last sticker from a Christmas sticker sheet - I don't even know who made it but I'm guessing it's at least 10 years old. The colours were pink/grey/red and most of the stickers had phrases on them.
I used a girly pink piece of paper that I got given some years ago...I don't have girly girls so it's sat unloved for a while. Also the last of some snowflake paper with pink/red/blue snowflakes - very pretty but a little tough to use in FL
Not much using up happening though...

Enamel dots. I’m getting so much better about using them and try to use at least one sheet per month. I sub to cocoa daisy so I get 2-3 packs per month-they are so lovely I want to hoard. But I don’t!!

I used up a whole washi tape, down to the cardboard tube. I think it’s the first time that’s ever happened. Usually if goes bad and either stops sticking OR gets so tacky I can’t unroll any without tearing it.

I used the last flair badge from a Shimelle pack. I find it very hard to open and use things in packages...if I use it, then I won't have it anymore, it's something I am working on

.if I use it, then I won't have it anymore, it's something I am working on I totally get that. I know it's not rational. I bought the supplies to use them but I still have those thoughts especially when coming close to finishing up a package of something. I have to remind myself that I can buy more anytime! I finally pulled out a cat themed collection to scrap pictures of a kitty we lost a few years ago. It's been too painful but I'm starting to work on those pictures now and it's nice to see his cute face again.

Pastes. Modeling/texture pastes. I’ve had them for a long time, used them once in a blue moon, but now am using them on cards a lot, including tinting and knocking down sheen on those that are too glossy for what I’m making. There’s something about putting them through stencils... Light and Fluffy Modeling Paste by TCW is the fave.

For the first time ever, after 17 years of scrapbooking, I completely used one sticker sheet, from the Cocoa Vanilla Day Dream collection set.

I pulled out my Vicki Boutin Field Notes pad and made two layouts with it. It has been sitting in my stash because I somehow neglected to buy any embellishments to go with it, so while I liked the paper, I found it hard to use. Last week I grabbed some photos, a bunch of random embellishments from other lines, and just made it work. I have tons of older stash that I need to do this with...it feels good to use what I have.

I shop exclusively from my stash these days, and have for awhile, but other than glue pens, 1 Copic marker, and multiple rolls of Scor-tape, I don’t think I have ever used up everything of anything. I’m trying to work on that.

The only thing that comes to mind is the January 2021 Hip Kit Club kit. It's one of the exclusives only kit; and I loved it SO much. Full of lovely purples - it really spoke to me. I used it all up a couple months ago, so I bought the paper and embellishments again - and haven't used it since. Why did I buy it again?!?!

I am notorious for doing this, especially when I scrapbook at my LSS. If I use a sheet of paper, then I will go and buy two others the exact same to replace it. For some reason it isn't enough that I used it once! And I wonder why I have an ever expanding scrap stash!

I find it very hard to open and use things in packages...if I use it, then I won't have it anymore, it's something I am working on I'm definitely guilty of this. I try to keep new embellishment packs out until I've used at least one thing from them. Once something is partially used it doesn't feel quite so precious any more. Occasionally I'll use the special things with wild abandon and then feel really good for putting so many things I really love onto my pages.

I recently bought two summer embellishment packs and was tempted to get paper, but then I realized I surely have paper that will go with these!

I had a stack of scraps and things to use up on my desk - some paper I had saved from junk mail, an old planner, and some little mini business cards with photos on them, plus a stack of white cardstock scraps. I’m almost done turning them into cards or components for future cards. I have one mini Polaroid left to add to a card, and a little stack of sentiment strip sized offcuts of white… the rest have been turned into banners (I’ll add sentiments at some point) and tiny die cut envelopes for mailbox cards.
I guess I should go finish off what’s on my desk now so I can have more things to add to this thread! I’ve been puttering, not very motivated lately.

I attended a three day crop this past weekend and spend Saturday and Sunday making Christmas cards. I'm only using my stash, no new stuff. I finished off the Muttcracker collection pack. I feel so accomplished!

We a beautiful rescue cat now, she is a joy but sometimes she does something just the way our boy did and I wonder if he sent her to us. I really am trying to use my stash, I am but I really do struggle because you can't replace some of the items since the companies don't exist anymore. But a good friend reminded me that I bought those items to put on my pages not to sit in a dark box or basket. I am trying, I did open an old package of Basic Grey die cuts today...progress!

So, you're saying it IS possible to finish up a sticker sheet?! I wouldn't know! 🤫 I have been using enamel dots, stickers, washi, patterned paper and cardstock, but haven't completely finished anything off in a while. Oh-I did make 3 cards with scraps that were on my desk from a layout. And there wrmere STILL scraps left over. These supplies-they take forever to use up!!

I've also been working on using my stamp sets this year, trying to use them all at least once. I crossed two more stamp sets off my list yesterday. And I pulled out a bunch of smaller patterned paper scraps to focus on using, and have managed to get 9 pieces onto pages so far. I knew the peas would totally understand how I feel!

I've never finished a sticker sheet, but that is because there are always a few stickers that I would never use because the image or phrase just doesn't fit my life.

I'm not sure if they're Thickers stickers (or something similar), but I read an idea on here once of someone using them as a backer on photos on a page to make them come up off the back of the page a little more to give some depth.

I get what you’re saying. Sometimes those specific supplies can’t be replaced. What I should have said was that there are always new supplies available which makes this hobby fun. And I agree with your friend in that my goal is to have finished layouts in my albums with those supplies on them. But again, I get what you’re saying. I have some old BG that I’ve hoarded some long that I don’t really love anymore and I’m thinking about putting it up for sale on Etsy. Maybe someone else will love it enough to actually use it.

I finished off a couple of paper packs, 3 rolls of ATG adhesive, 2 packages of card bases and some embellishment packs during the 100 days project when I made 249 cards. Didnt even make a dent in my stash lol

I have been scrapping a lot of photos of DGD at our local 18th c farm site and I have used lots of different wood grain papers. However I have not really made a dent because I have so many.

And of course a few adhesives.

I dug DEEP into my stash on my most recent layout...and found some self-adhesive, fabric 'paper' from 2007...from Love Elsie's Jack + Abby Neighbours. It was just perfect for our moving-in photos and while I have 2 card-size scraps leftover, it's almost used up.
