I am gonna have to check out some of the movies you all shared.
This week, I have enjoyed several old movies. Today: "Good Girls Go To Paris" with Mervyn Douglas and Joan Blondell. SO CUTE! Yesterday: "Mr. Blanding Builds His Dream House" with Cary Grant and Myrna Loy

I want to add anything by Mel Brooks, too. I loved the original Producers w/Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder.
Why can't they make good movies w/o language, sex and violence? The innocence of the older movies is sort of a refreshing change and I'm not a prude.

I need to rewatch some of the movies mentioned. A few more classics I like are The Long, Long Trainer, Cheaper by the Dozen (Clifton Webb), The Birds. If your library has access to Kanopy, there is a nice selection of classic movies you can watch for free.

My favorites are:
Gone with the Wind Wizard of Oz Flight of the Phoenix (the original from 1965 with James Stewart) A Night to Remember (from the amazing book about the Titanic by Walter Lord) Guess who's Coming to Dinner (1967 with Spencer Tracey)

Another One Post Wonder dredging up old threads! What’s the point? (Other than getting us clicking on their links, obviously! 😊)
