My beloved ColorBox Caty's Eye ink pads are finally dying. Is there any way to revive the dried up ink pads? Can you suggest any alternatives to the colors Creamy Brown or Chestnut Roan? My favorites for inking the edges of my cards (yep, I still do that).

Not a big fan of Versamagic, but I can give them another try. Thanks!

I'm another fan of versamagic - I own all the chalk inks. They work great and are juicy.

I've been loving Distress Oxide in Vintage Photo applied with a foam applicator. Otherwise, they used to have little chalk ink cubes at Michaels and I like using those but I don't know if they still have them. I miss the Cats Eye inks also! I still have a few but they are getting old and worn out.

scrapperal I also was going to mention one of the Distress colors - regular or Oxide. I’m not familiar with the ink you used, but if you describe it a bit - like light reddish brown, for example - I bet we can get you close. There are a lot of Distress browns since Tim Holtz is a brown fan.
