I have to wait 3 hours until I can get my hands on it. Has anyone opened theirs?

I read your title and my first thought was OMG!
LOL
Sorry, this made me laugh. With all the shortening of words on this board I got confused. I read your title and thought your Dear Daughter was delivered while you were at work.
Safe to say you meant December Daily, right? ;-)

Oh no! I feel your pain - few things make a work day go longer than knowing there's a parcel of scrapping goodness waiting at home!

HA! Oh my goodness. That is so funny. Yes, I mean December Daily. I don't have children so I guess I did not think about that.

Yes, I thought perhaps you were adopting a child, and the baby had been born to her birth mother while you were at work! Thanks for the clarification and have fun with your December Daily!

What do you think? I LOVE the big gold letters and the velvet ric rac.
The paper is nice. Very good quality and soft. I always love their paper. My DD (daughter! lol) was freaking out over the huge masking tape.

Well, mine was delivered, but not to me. One of the neighbors must have it, hopefully one that will bring it by! So annoyed, especially since if it doesn't show up the post office won't do anything, because they show it as being delivered.

Had a crazy night and just opening the box now as I type this. First of all, the red and white striped box is adorable and I will be using this to wrap a gift for sure. Really loved the elastic around the outside holding it shut. Little details count. The masking tape and gold letters are awesome and will be using every little bit of these materials. Love the gold glittery stickers, but not crazy about the puffy heart stickers. Maybe because I don't have a DD (Dear Daughter ) The little wooden numbers are made with a really awesome font. I wonder if people will paint these, not sure if its worth the effort to paint all of these tiny pieces, maybe with spray paint? The confetti and other tiny pieces are not something I normally use. Guess I will make "pockets" with page protectors like Ali does....but not really my style. I don't have a sewing machine right now. I guess I will use double sided tape to close the pockets. Will have to see what creative ideas other people come up with for these. Love the ribbons and the banner stickers. I will use all the chipboard shapes and the cut out words. I am not really a stamper. Going to challenge myself to use some of these stamps. Love the tab stickers and transparencies. Wish there were a few more transparencies since I use them a lot. I got the extra set of paper since I preordered and these will be used for sure. I am glad we got extra sheets of paper. I felt last year's kit did not have enough. Here is where I am stumped and will be looking to see what Ali does with the cardboard pages. Not really loving these. Anyone else have ideas?

I have no idea about those cardboard pieces. And I really like the rest of the kit (I have double papers too, score). I filled my book easily last year and I think the Handbooks we are getting with this kit are smaller; I feel like the cardboard would be really thick to go in there. This is one of those things where I will wait to see what Ali does with them.

I am with you on the weird pages. I will definitely be waiting to see what she does with those. I can see using the one with the holes and sticking stuff behind it but the calendar is not my style. The transparencies are great. I think just one photo and a number on one of those puppies and it's golden.
I will probably paint the little numbers. I tried embossing the large numbers for WITL and it wasn't working. I even bought a new heat gun and that helped but I needed 3 coats to be smooth. For Dec Daily I will buy some glitter embossing powder because I think it will be more forgiving.
I didn't use the confetti last year but used almost all the little plastic shapes. Is there a download this year? I liked the one from last year a lot.

Mine came and I love just about all of it, especially the paper. I am not a fan of the chipboard pages though, I am really trying to keep my album as thin as possible this year.

And now all the lock boxes were packages are kept are open, so someone has that and a package my husband had ordered that was supposedly delivered the same day. SC saw my post on their message board about it though and asked me to contact them Monday if no one brings it by, which is incredibly kind if them. Just so annoyed that someone would keep someone else's mail and because I had tomorrow all set to get my foundation pages done.

That really sucks Skellinton. And the post office, what the heck? They just wash their hands of this because they showed it delivered, even though they delivered to the wrong box? I would be super annoyed, too.

I would be super annoyed, too. Pretty crazy, we have been getting misdelivered mail for over a year. We get our neighbors mail every couple of weeks, we actually don't even have packages delivered to our home address unless it is being sent UPS or fed ex. because there was such chaos with the kit I forgot to have them ship it to my work instead of where they usually ship my kit (normally the kits are sent UPS). We have been to the post office several times and filled out paperwork and left our number, but no one ever calls or contacts us to follow up. The USPS website doesn't really help you get in contact with the correct people either. I need to start a message on ether NSBR board and see if anyone there knows how to go above our postmaster to get this fixed. So incredibly frustrating and really annoyed with who ever decided to keep our mail!

Just got an email that my album was delivered. I am pretty sure I ordered white/cream. Everyone seems to be unhappy with the red. I went back and forth and I *think* I finally settled on the white one. Really have no idea how I am going to embellish the cover.
