I first saw it on Instagram as it was being designed. They are now selling it as a kit from pink door fabrics. It’s English paper piecing, which I’ve never done, but it looks like I’m going to learn it (I’m a machine piecer and quilter ![](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) ) Inner Cube

Great quilt! I had not seen it before, but love the bright colors. EPP is not my cup of tea, but I admire anyone who completes a quilt with the method!
If anyone wants to see the finished quilt, check out @itssewjodi on Instagram!

If anyone wants to see the finished quilt, check out @itssewjodi on Instagram! WOW! I think it's lovely with all that color, but my rule is the pieces can't be so small that I get tired of it before I finish. It feels like this pattern would be exactly that for me but it will be neat to see the finished quilt in different colorways. Thanks for sharing the IG!

Wow, that is taking quilting to a whole new level. Gorgeous!
I have done a bit of EPP and find it soothing when watching television at times. But now I don't seem to find the desire to sit and do it.

That's gorgeous! I"ve never even heard of English Paper Piecing. I just do shapes and machine sew then either tie or send out for quilting. That's way too complicated for me.

It's beautiful, but I don't think I'm up for that.

love it, but don't know if I have the patience. Still working on a paper piecing wall hanging. Its a UFO that will be picked up now and then for years to come.

Cool quilt but the only hand sewing I do is the binding. I only hand sew that because I can’t manage to make it look nice when I machine sew it.

I agree — it is a beautiful quilt, but I don’t think I could tackle that one.

What a stunning quilt. I love the look of fussy EPP like this, but as a barely have the patience for machine piecing there's no way I'd be willing to hand piece something like that. This is my current albatross. I've been working on it off and on for 18 months. Finally put in serious time over the 4th of July holiday here and have started piecing my rows together. ![Night Sky Jaybird Quilts](http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-A-SinE8R6FY/Ukse9jGJkwI/AAAAAAAAP-Y/zBPbUsNMH3c/s1600/NightSky-Pattern_Cover-Web.jpg)
