If you want simple the Amy Knapp family planner is nice. Used it when my son was in school. My favorite planner came from B&N last year. I can only find an undated version, at present. The daily list works so well for me. Planner on Amazon.

I've been a paper planner girl for decades, and I've tried many. I liked them all for different reasons, but when Costco had a 2-year Happy Planner kit several years ago, I went with them and have been ever since. I like that I can take the pages out, move them, add them. I like all the extra additions they have and the stickers. I started with Classic and then found un-dated Big super cheap at Tuesday Morning. I thought they were outrageously big, but it turns out, I love this size. I tape a lot of stuff into my weeklies- appt cards, ticket stubs, notes- so the extra room is nice. I tried the mini for my purse, but it was too bulky for my purposes.

I combine digital (calendar) and paper (lists/projects) planning. Half my system got broken recently Up until this summer, I was using a well oiled set of systems developed over 5 years: Work - ToDoist for task planning, half-letter discbound for note-taking, Pocket Moleskine for quick today lists/time tracking Family Kitchen Planner - weekly Vertical Hourly Happy Planner with school/doctor/vet stuff punched and inserted in (we all write in it) Personal - Apple Reminders for repeating tasks, random notepads for temporary lists, A5 journal for project planning and reading notes And then key systems fell apart in July: Happy Planner discontinued the Classic hourly dated for Academic (can only buy undated expansion packs - yuck) Exchange server update broke ToDoist sync with Outlook Pocket Moleskine binding fell apart and I lost some future dates pages. The ToDoist loss is the worst - I can still see everything in the stand alone app but I lost the link back to the emails with the task details. We’re not on Office 365, so I can’t use the newer plugin. I’m now trialing two half-Letter options - Tul discbound and FranklinCovey ring inserts. They have a 20% of coupon - AUG21. And I bought 6 more months of dated Happy Planner on eBay, so that buys me time until January to replace the hourly family planner. Thanks to everyone for sharing - I wasn’t planning to have to replace any of this setup, let alone key parts. And I just added two new personal projects and 3 major projects at work.

Year after year, I find myself using the same planner. Day PlannerI have looked at ones online that you can design and all that, but I keep coming back to these. You can pick them up at any Target or Walmart. If I am not Stateside, I usually will have a family member send one to me with other stuff.

I love the ones at Target by bluesky. They are small and have a monthly calendar spread each month and then weekly with enough room to actually write stuff down.

For most planning, I use a weekly insert from Traveler's Company in a traveler's notebook, and then I have a grid insert for random lists and notetaking.
For exclusively homeschool planning, I have an A5 Plum Paper planner and it's great. They have other, non-school layouts as well.

I have tried different planners over the years. I always put appointments into my phone calendar, but I always like having a planner on my desk. The quality with Erin Condren is inconsistent and after major mistakes with the personalization of my cover 2 years in a row, I finally moved on from them. I stumbled on Cultivate What Matters 3 years ago and absolutely loved it! It's a life planner and really helped me to set goals and stick to them. Unfortunately they sold the business to a company that appears to be anti-LGBTQ so I feel like I can no longer support them. I just purchased a Makse Life Planner and I think I'm going to love it more than Cultivate! So if you are looking for a life planner give them a try! And if you have never tried a life planner before, I highly recommend them. I'm not exaggerating when I say it changed my life. I have pushed myself more and reach higher goals using a life planner.

Another person who has tried several over the years.
Primary day to day, weekly planner: Hemlock and Oak. This past year I got a weekly hemlock and oak and it has been the most used planner I have had in my adult life. that are small business owner run, eco friendly, and the planners are gorgeous and useful. Besides great paper quality and durability that held together the entire year of use, is that she integrates annual and monthly values/goals/priority planning and reflection at the beginning of the year, and at the start and end of each month so you have space to reflection what you want to accomplish. There is a space each week to also include key goals, priorities and focus. Yet, it is a pragmatic set up and I find the space well organized and utilitarian. I just received my 2023 planner and it's beautiful. She also has plan notebooks of daily planners. I just can't say enough about the quality and structure of these!
Work Notebook - Staology B5 (I think) size for just work notes and details.
Journaling, Reflection, Brainstorming, etc - LEUCHTTURM 4A Dotted - this is their biggest notebook. I think it runs 8.75 x 12.5. I have been using these for 5-6 years for ideating and journaling. I do keep a handful of monthly organized content in here, but nothing that is calendar related, just more to capture my thinking. I love that I can Index my content, I can stamp, doodle, write, etc.

I used this one for years: Medium Ardium PlannerBut I recently went paperless with an e-ink tablet. I use the Supernote. I found it after I kept seeing ads for the Remarkable tablet and started looking into it. I'm really enjoying using it. I take all my notes and keep my to-do lists in it.
