Female, 40s, just lost her husband. I'd like to do a stocking for her. I have some ideas based on her interests and hobbies, but was looking for some fun, random stuff to make her smile.
What would make you crack a smile or laugh or something?

gift cards (restaurants, coffee, movie theater, any store under the sun)

Give us some ideas of what she's into, so we can better narrow down awesome choices.
If she's totally not into make-up, then that category would be irrelevant. If she's not a scrapper, then that is irrelevant.

I like those little handheld games, like Yahtzee and stuff. Maybe a tiny magic eight ball keychain? I collect hippos and my friend got me this silly enamel hippo necklace. It's for a kid I'd think, but it makes me smile. A funny t shirt? Cute socks with funny animals or something whimsical?
