PaperWishes sent this Christmas dazzles Webisode via email. The Dazzles are outline stickers, and I clicked on this b/c it seems a LOT of Dazzles live in my Christmas corner cupboard, but I could see the same kinds of ideas being used for stamped, coloured images. I don't have this particular slimline card die, either, but I have one that is similar.
I printed off a couple of their sample cards, and can see myself using these designs. I think I will turn them into shaker cards, so no need to cut the front panel of the base. And then the stickers will go on the outside of the acetate window. We will see...
Received the SU! Salabration booklet and the Aug to Dec catalog in the mail this week. Tempting bundles in there. I am afraid to click on their website in case there are fun ways to use those bears and penguins and deer that had not occurred to me as yet...
Do you have any tutorials you have been watching that may lead to some of YOUR Christmas cards?

I’ve been buying mostly Queen & Co. products since the virus shutdowns, and they just had their Christmas in July, with some Christmas card tutorials. Their YouTube channel has tutorials going back awhile, which should also include Christmas cards. They offer a new Christmas shaker set or two every year. This year they added Christmas florals to their Foundation die sets.
Heartfelt Creations has Christmas card tutorials on their site.
I’m betting most major craft companies like My Favorite Things, Lawn Fawn, and Hero Arts have Christmas card tutorials. I haven’t checked specifically for Christmas cards, but I’ve seen lots of videos showcasing their products in general.
Unfortunately, something major happens every year to our family that makes it impossible to make my Christmas cards. I keep buying Christmas card making products, though, so I am clearly an optimist.

I have an old fashion scrapbook where I keep every handmade card I have received, be it birthday, get well, Christmas, or just "how are you". It is my favorite card making tutorial.

I saw a quick video advertising a die like this on Pinterest and ended up ordering it. It was a knockoff, and didn't have any instructions, but I was able to Google Magic Windows Cards and found the actual designer demonstrating her dies. Now I feel guilty... Her name is Angela Poole. Hoping to use this for an anniversary card for my dh with two photos. But I also see the potential for Christmas cards...

I've watched www.youtube.com/user/PrairiePaperandInk make a couple of flat shaker cards (one for a SSS kit just using scrap plastic packaging) which I'd like to try. It looks a lot less fussy than traditional shakers. I've seen one version where there was something dimensional inside to give the shaker bits a little more space to move (it was a Call me crafty Al video, a few months ago). Anyway, I have some Christmas themed shaker elements and some "fresh fallen snow" (meant for Christmas village decor, but I think it would work as shaker snow too) so I'm thinking about giving that all a go.
