For me it's the school albums. I am so close for kid #2, but have a long ways to go for kid #3. If I could just finish them I'd be able to clear out so much in my craft room and then move onto other fun family album projects. These school albums are just a mental block and I don't know why I can't motivate myself to just do them.

December Daily 2011 (the only DD I attemtped), it only needs a few things but every December I dig it out and don't work on it... and I kind of gave up on school albums for my kids. I have all the school work and stuff (so much stuff...) but have no motivation to do anything with it (times four kids).

A Disney/universal mini album. I have all them pictures in there. All the cards. Needs embellishments and journaling.
Reorganizing my scrap area.

1) My Disney Album
2) A mini album that is almost done but got put on the back burner because I felt burned out and ran out of ideas.
3) A repair to a mini album that one of my grandkids damaged, but… I did actually fix it this morning after procrastinating for probably about 2 years!

All of them lol. I swear OLW is the only album I ever consistently complete each year.

Oh my goodness. Where to begin?
My wedding album redo - about 3/4 done
My living history photos - somewhere between half and 3/4 done
My years in Arizona - I saw the light at the end and then found about 100 photos that go in that time period. I got overwhelmed and put it all aside
Then there are the chronological albums I just fell behind on and now I am at least a year behind on all my family and granddaughter albums.
My beach trips with my mom. I am 3 years behind. There are probably less than 10 layouts per year but it fell to the bottom.
Plenty more projects but just listing them here makes me feel like going to take a nap.

I have tons of ‘ongoing’ stuff because of all the times I’ve stopped scrapbooking but most recently is my Montreal mini book it’s 3/4 done and it just sits there.
Also not doing yo well with PL this year

A 2011 vacation. I think there are two reasons I'm stuck with it, the first is that I have two albums, one digi, one paper. I haven't digi scrapped in a while so it's just a project that never gets worked on. The paper album is a ring bound fairly flat album so any layers or embellishing also have to be flat otherwise the album would never close. I really like the way it was coming together but I think I'd rather play with some lumpier embellishments than I can use in this project. I've started thinking about what I want to do with this. The goal with the paper album was to have a single album I could hand to people who wanted to see my trip photos, but I'm seriously considering printing out a ton of photos and making a lumpy multi-album album for me.

Hahahahaha- I totally hear you- my younger DS was about to finish second year University when I finally decided to finish his! I just decided I’d had enough of tripping over the big plastic box I had the supplies in,took 2 days and made myself finish ! felt good after!

My pandemic album.
I don't know when to stop documenting. I'm doing less in it, but the pandemic is still happening and personally affecting my life.

If it helps, you're ahead of me. I have photos printed from 2020 and Persnickety's timelines all in an album with papers and stuff, I just can't bring myself to start. I might just trash the whole thing at this point because I'm so frustrated with things.

I feel that exact way about stuff I've collected together for documenting how insane the Trump presidency was. But I feel overwhelmed, like where do I even start?

Baby book. Project Life 2017. Countless classes. I’m not actively working towards finishing those.
Still on my “to finish” list are multiple Disney/Orlando albums. I’m scrapping Disney at least once a week though so that doesn’t bother me as “unfinished”
I have managed to finish five years of Project Life and all Journal Your Christmas albums since I started in 2015. Thinking about those make me feel good and gives me warm fuzzies to tackle unfinished projects.

I might just trash the whole thing at this point because I'm so frustrated with things. I stopped and trashed my pandemic album completely and decided to do more of a project life type of album for last year when Covid took a personal turn and my family and I got Covid and then we began losing loved ones to it. That way the focus wasn't so much on the pandemic per say! It was just to hard and depressing to continue on with a pandemic only album. I'm much more happier with the project lifeish album! As for unfinished projects... Disney. Disney trips seem to be ones I just can't finish!

School albums (kids are in their 30s ) My JYC 2018 album, that was my first year attempting a December album and I tried again in 2019 before I decided a December album is not my thing. There are a few details and prompts I would like to record, but it will just go with the 2-4 two page spreads I do each year. I'm not even going to try and force myself to finish, I'll just pivot lol. I don't even know what to do with my pandemic/2020 album. I got to March and can't make myself work on that anymore. The whole last year was such a dark crazy time that I don't think I want to document in as much detail as I had planned. Plus the pandemic isn't over and the amount of things I'm collecting for that have dwindled down quite a bit. My life didn't change much as I was already WFH when it started.

I thought maybe if I posted here it would help me get out of my funk.
I was so good about printing pics monthly and now I have not printed June or July 2021. We are now in August, so no printing yet fir this month either.
Tons of half made cards.
Several trip albums, one the CT one I was so excited about, half done, others undone.
Scrap room I just moved into in June a total mess.
Promised a friend I'd drop off some stuff for her and haven't done it.
I just go in there and feel so overwhelmed.

My Vietnam trip album from 2017.
Every Project Life album.
I was going quite well with PL this year, and promised myself that I would keep up with it. But then I killed my MacBook and Photoshop doesn't work too well on my PC, so I wasn't able to do any PL pages for months. Now that my MacBook is back up and running, I am so far behind that it just seems a bit overwhelming.

For those of you who have started (or even completed), how do you approach them? Do you have a formula for each year of things/activities/topics you include? I think I will do better if I have a game plan!

My wedding album. We did teal/purple and really did things we liked for our wedding but all the papers are black/white/peach/pink.
So until I find papers I can use I can't finish!

My DD's baby book - she's 8.5 years old. I have about nine months finished.
Spain 2008 and 2010 - There are thousands of pictures from five cities. It's just so overwhelming.

I'm trying to image my negatives - 1% done (for the last 2 months).

A December daily album i started in 2011. I finally started finishing it last month and I decided to go through 2019 with it. Its just about done now and I'm going to start the next one and include both 2020 & this year in one album.
Its not in order and just includes favorite memories. I'm really happy with how its going & it felt freeing not to worry about doing one for each separate year.

I bought a project off of etsy from Lea Museave. If you have not seen her work, check it out.. she is SO good. Most of her projects is using the Graphic 45 papers/embellishments. She does elaborate boxes, books, etc. I have bought the paper, the supplies and whatnot. Have I started the project. No. Do I want to? Yes but I am scared. HA....
Memories by Lea I think is her etsy store's name. She is fairly easy to find.
