I have finally have had enough of my Whirlpool Cabrio washer. We recently spent $300 to have it fixed and it is still not working right. I don't want to invest any more money in a machine I haven't really liked it since we got it.
Anyway to my questions. I found an old thread where everyone was recommending the Speed Queen washers. So which model do you have? Is there anything you don't like about it? I want a machine with an agitator, that I can set the water level and temp on. I don't need all the bells and whistles.
I read some reviews and of course there are glowing ones and ones where people can't say enough bad about these machines. I figured with so many Peas having them they can't be that bad. I really don't want to buy another washer for a while.
Thanks so much for any advise you can offer.

There are 3 top-load models and the main differences are the number of cycles each has. Comparison ChartI've had my Speed Queen for about 2 years and LOVE it. It's quick, quiet and cleans like nobody's business. I especially love that I can add as much water as I need to with the reset button. Genius feature. L ETA: I have the top model, the AWN542. You may not want or need all 17 cycles this one has and the middle model may be perfect for you. The mid & low models also do NOT have a fabric selector switch and the low model doesn't have the extra rinse cycle.
