I am glad that he resigned, and glad that he waited for the investigation to conclude before resigning. Now there is evidence, and NY will have a female governor. Good riddance. She has little to no experience and will not get the Democrats backing. At least I hope not. Ugh |

(*cough*cough* Take a hint Gaetz!) That will never happen. Since republicans never resign, frankly Democrats shouldn't either. Honestly, I get the sentiment, but honestly, we need to take the high ground on this. This about the ongoing abuse, belittlement and assault on women. Our politicians need to be held to higher standards. They should lose their jobs, regardless of party affiliation, if they are found to have behaved inappropriately. Gaetz is a pig ... he gave up any chance of doing the right thing years ago. Karma will be a bitch for him. |

Think about former, Gaetz, Kavanaugh.... They were embraced and supported by their buds...

When will politicians learn? I don’t think that it is necessarily politicians who are like this, but this this type of person is drawn to political office because of the power it gives them over people. It’s the same with many men who head up corporations, organizations, have great wealth, etc. They truly believe they can do no wrong and are entitled to the sexual advances they perpetuate on their victims. |

He's just another one of the power crazed male politicians that seem to think they can get away with anything because of their giant egos. RGB was right, women need to be in all places where decisions are being made. Best wishes to Kathy Hochul!

Good. Any person with credible claims of sexual harrassment against them shouldn't be a governor. (Or a senator, or Supreme Court justice, or president.) Sadly, it seems like only Democrats are held to a standard in which they must resign. |

All they do each election is prove all republicans are worthless, lying, hypocrites. By their votes they are saying that there are no decent, intelligent, honest republicans available to serve. It is up to the republican voters to change things in that party but they won't and never will. The voters are are not good people. |
