I saw on FB that someone wasn't getting the vaccine because they prayed to God and he/she answered no. My God believes in science and human knowledge. Not looking for answers, just venting.

It's always weird to me when God speaks to someone, what He tells them to do, lines up exactly with their own belief system. In the Bible, didn't God have people doing stuff that was outside their comfort zone? It's very interesting to me! (And for the record, I do believe in God, pray, etc. But I surely do not think that God thinks exactly how I do about things!)

Aaargh, my cousin and his wife are anti-Covid vaxers AND youth ministers. They are teaching all of their teenagers in their youth group to pray to stay healthy, that the vaccine is unncessary, yada, yada, yada. They are also VERY vocal on Facebook about their beliefs. This is also the same branch of the family who takes horse de-worker to "cure" Covid. I can't even..........  |

A podcast that I've been listening to updated yesterday with their family's covid story. The family got "sick" but didn't lose taste/smell so it obviously wasn't covid...and then went on to spread it around. They were laughing about how they didn't even know that they were the ones spreading it and if you get sick you might consider getting a covid test. Baby got really sick (like transported to children's hospital by ambulance sick). But no worries. They prayed and she's better now. Zero mention of vaccine in the entire of the podcast. Sooo....I'm done and unfollowed the podcast and her FB account.

A local massage therapist is believed to be more knowledgable than the epidemiologists at the NIH. Many also believe that it is unconstitutional for a workplace to issue vaccine mandates. They're having a protest at a local medical center next week. They're also going to homeschool their kids if there are mask mandates in school. A few others chimed in that they are going to make damn sure CRT isn't being taught in school either. They are all so proud of themselves for speaking up.
I am so effing tired of stupid people.

We have had hospital employees protesting the mandatory requirements of vaccine. There is also a fairly large hospital not requiring the vax. I trust in God, but I trust science too.

Maybe, just maybe, God's answers to people's prayers was to give scientists the knowledge and skill to produce vaccine so that God wouldn't have to keep taking everyone's calls.

You know what? As terrible as it is that they’re not getting vaccinated and are relying on essential oils instead…at least they’re consistent. If one ore person who has never, ever had a problem with mandated vaccinations in their life start mouthing off about this one again I might just flip my lid. |
