I swore I had one of these but I guess I don't and when I tried to find one to buy online, they seem pretty scarce online as well. I did buy one from Amazon that's not a Fiskars or EK Success brand (my usual go-to's for punches) so we shall see how it is when it arrives. I have every size above and below but no 1".  So, do any of you have a 1" square paper punch? And why is it so elusive? |

I have the old Creative Memories double square punch, but not sure what size the smaller square is. Did you check their site? I’ve always loved the high quality of their tools.  |

I have the same punch mentioned above (it's ancient). I just checked and it's no longer available on the CM website. Not sure if someone (maybe a CM consultant?) would still have one in their inventory they'd be willing to part with. Good luck with the one you ordered. I do still use mine quite a bit, otherwise I'd offer it up on the FSOT board. |

I used to have an EK Success one but I recently purged a bunch punches I wasn't using anymore.

I also have the CM double square punch and an old EK Success one.
If the one you ordered doesn't work you could always try to see if anyone is selling one on Mercari.
ETA: I just did a quick search on Mercari and there are lots of listings for the CM ones as well as others. I can send you links if you'd like.

You got me curious so searching I found one from WRMK, Marvy, Spellbinders (though you need a handle), the Creative Memories double one with 3/4 and 1” on ebay, and a couple oddball names on Amazon. But weirdly like you point out, no EK or Fiskars.
Maybe they were low on stock during the pandemic and like with so many things, haven’t been able to get them manufactured, or maybe they have been but there’s still a backlog in shipping - not enough shipping containers.

FWIW make sure the punch is 1 in square and not 1 inch on the diagonal. I seem to remember that this was a problem that was brought up in the past.

Did you find the punch? My second hand store had two of them still in the box. They were $4 each. Not sure what they are going for online.
