We are hoping to head to Gatlinburg in a couple weeks if we don’t go into lockdown again. What are some fun things to do?
We don’t hike. I have asthma and allergic to basically everything outside. We have driven thru Cade’s Cove and Roaring Forks on previous trips and really enjoyed that. We have also driven to Cherokee, the drive is beautiful. So if there’s something fun there give me those suggestions too.
Restaurant suggestions appreciated too, we like non-chain places best.

You can't drive 10 feet in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg without finding something to do! There are all sorts of shops lining the streets of downtown Gatlinburg. They are craft "villages" to visit. Great Aquarium. Some folks like the Titanic exhibit. There is a chair lift you can take up the mountain. Ober Gatlinburg is worth a visit. You can drive up or take the chair lift. Of course, there is Dollywood in Pigeon Forge. I don't know if you like country music, but there are shows you can see (if they are operating right now).
Just noticed you are in KY. I'm in Lexington.

Because finding parking isn't always that easy, we drive up to the top of the Tram and park there and take the tram down. Our last trip, the trams was closed for repairs. We were SO disappointed. That visit, we parked in the area for the Aquarium. We were there on a school break (NEVER AGAIN) and lines were so long, we did not go to the Aquarium. If you like mini golf www.ripleys.com/gatlinburg/mini-golf/. There is a HUGE scrapbook store in that area too. We love eating at Applewoods www.applewoodfarmhouserestaurant.com/ there are LOTS of things to do, it depends what you are looking for and how much you have to spend.
