Hi all,
Wondering if there is a current coupon code for SSS… I haven’t bought anything in a year and have a few things in my cart!

The last one was for a long period and ended a week or so ago, maybe a little more. I just bought something today and looked on line, plus the site says they don’t have any coupons now. Sorry!

It’s my understanding there won’t be any coupons until Stamptember is over.

I don’t know of any and it’s true that they don’t usually have any for September. Seriously, Stamptember pisses me off. It’s aggravating as hell that SSS allows their customers to be taken advantage of. It’s ridiculous and a terrible business practice for a collaboration company to make a popular design that SSS will own the distribution rights to, and then SSS limits the number produced. That’s so ridiculously dumb and a crappy business model. Make plenty and sell them all month and then bring them back six months later for anyone who missed it. Then SSS turns a blind eye to people buying up 10-20 sets of the popular designs and then immediately turning around and listing them on eBay for up to 5x the original cost once they’re sold out.
I’ve emailed 4 different companies asking them to please bring back a particular Stamptember product and every single one has told me that they’d love to but I have to convince SSS to do so. With as driven by money as SSS is, you’d think that they’d know that it’s a dumb idea to produce so few of a very popular design. I don’t mind only being able to buy a collab through them, but make enough to meet demand. There are actually a lot of people getting aggravated by this and some on FB and Instagram have said they’re planning to boycott Stamptember and the companies that collaborate until SSS starts putting customers first.
With the promo codes, make sure to keep the post card with a promo code that usually comes with your order. If you notice, for example, it will read something like: “Good through 5/31” but doesn’t have a year. I saved a few to use as bookmarks and noticed that the same codes were valid for that time period for two subsequent years. So now I keep them whenever I get them in an effort to have promo codes available to me whenever there are any.
In the past, I’ve emailed customer service twice and asked them for the current code and they were always very polite and accommodating and replied with the current code for $5 off. Not anymore. They won’t give it to you if you ask. Now, they just say to sign up for their newsletter—which hardly ever has a code.
