Costco has one going on sale for Black Friday and thinking about getting it but wondered if I would regret the lower resolution
It has 1366 by 768 and a 15.6 inch screen - everything else about it sounds great. I want it for just every day things like email and message boards, facebook and possibly - photo editing - thinking this will be the thing that pushes it to something else. I won't do the majority of my editing there but want to be able to do some.
I have used photo shop for years but honestly I don't think I need that complex of a program - what program do you use to edit your photos. I was thinking of switching to Photoshop Elements but wondered if there was something else most were using.
Any advise would be appreciated.

I have a MacBook Air and even without the retina display, I love the screen. I prefer it to any other monitor or screen I've tried. I use Photoshop Elements, iPhoto and Aperture in varying ways for photo editing, all of which run beautifully on this machine. I'd be wary about a screen with that low a resolution...it's likely not to have a particularly good graphic card and I do wonder if the guts of the machine could effectively handle Photoshop. Even Elements tends to be fairly hungry on the MacBook Air.
