I was wondering if anybody knows why Doodlebug is a little bit more expensive than some of the other brands? Is the paper higher quality? Also, if you buy a paper pack, do you get duplicates of each sheet or only one?
Gracias!

I'm not sure about the pricing, but I do know that any time I've ever bought a collection, there was only one of each design (double-sided). I think the paper is very high quality.

I find Doodlebug to be priced similar to other like products in the scrapbook world. Their ephemera packages are much bigger than AC. Their enamel pieces are pretty equal to ACs. Their paper is very nice - smooth and thick - and exactly the same price as Bella Blvd and AC for the most part. It's all expensive these days! Their collection packs are only 1 piece of each paper, typically 12 pieces/package. Yes, I do find it expensive because it's usually no less than buying the papers separately! I would prefer to purchase pps individually because I skip some, but order 2 of others.

Thank you riversong1963 and kitbop for your responses Dang, I really just want to get "Special Delivery" for the teddy bear paper, but I would prefer to have 2 sheets and it sounds like the paper pack only comes with one. SB.com and ACOT dont have the teddy bear paper as a single sheet, since it is an older line. Womp womp it would be perfect for my cousin's teddy bear themed shower.

Congratulations to your cousin & family! Per a Google search, Crafts Direct online still has some supplies from the Special Delivery collection in stock & on sale, including the Nap Time (bears) paper for $0.69/sheet. (Note I'm not affiliated with - & have never purchased from - this store, but have seen it previously mentioned on this board). HTH.

I do have to caution you about the enamel stickers. They yellow over time, so you might not want to use them in your scrapbooks.

Yes I love their paper, very high quality. I typically buy the "pack" and then a few single sheets of the prints I like as they are double sided.

I have a handful of sets I'm planning to use, and certainly hope they don't yellow as well.

I haven't had any problems with their other stickers, though.

I've used Doodlebug letter stickers for as long as they've been around, and they've never changed colour. Epoxy stickers - I've had lots of old epoxy yellow with time. However, I've only purchased Doodlebug epoxy stickers in the past few years and those are still white so I can't comment on whether they'll age poorly! Plus, I think one set was yellow chickies, so if they yellow...no problemo!

I also think they can demand a premium because they are popular. Most people love Doodlebug and buy everything in a line. They aren't chasing customers, customers are coming to them.
