The only thing I have been enjoying about this that everyday on SSS's IG they introduced the owners of the company and tells their story.

I placed an order for some of the things that released on September 1st, and it’s now the 8th…no shipping notice. My jaw dropped when I saw the Gina K set was $55 today. Those are not intricate dies that cutout the snowflake detail. They are just the outline. Wow. I’ve only bought a Stamptember limited edition a couple of times, and these prices make me want to bow out just like the AE DD prices are making me say no to all of her DD items. SSS does this because they can, and it is frustrating to see and experience the customers who keep their business running being last in line for any bit of consideration. I ordered on Aug 31 and when I checked my mailbox today it was in there! Now, it could have been delivered anytime since Saturday since we don’t check our box very often. I have never received SSS that quick, especially during Stamptember!!

If anyone is waiting on the Tim Holtz stamps set, they are being released on September 20! Confirmed by one of his official makers.

I broke down and sent an email asking when my order from 9/1 might ship. I noticed that when I looked in my account, a couple of the items are showing as RESERVE, but they were not that way when I got my order confirmation. If my order is delayed because I have to wait for re-orders, I think I’ll just have them cancel it. Plus, if that is the reason, why wouldn’t you let your customers know that?

There is NOT ONE thing I have wanted from the collab sets. So many flowers and how original is a snowflake? They phoned that one in for sure. Good for my wallet I guess.

I think the hippos are cute, but I am not in the market for any holiday stamps. The use is so limited.

I'm bummed. This is my first stamptember and was really excited about it. There isn't anything that is jumping out at me, yet I check back every day.

Maybe brands are not using their better/more popular ideas bcz of the limited release?!

That makes sense Well, if I had a stamp business, and I created a really popular set, I'd be pretty upset that I couldn't manufacture more of them. Then again, who knows if the popular sets in Stamptember are because they are so very great, or because people know they are limited edition and are afraid they'll miss out? Or if it's because someone bought up a whole mess of them to resell on Ebay at a profit?

It is a pretty set but this price makes the Stamptember price look really good. This doesn't even include the dies. www.ebay.com/itm/194347873685?hash=item2d40093595:g:-EwAAOSwcEdhORf7

I'm pretty much a Gina K fan, but I wasn't tempted by the set because I already have multiple sets of her snowflakes (and sets from others, and how many different snowflake sets does one person need?). And pretty much the same day these sold out, she had a youtube live showing how to get almost the same look from other sets of hers. Even as a Gina K fan, that set is in no way, shape or form worth that kind of $$, not even if the dies were included! That's been pretty much my feeling on all the offerings this year - yawn, been there, done that . . . maybe I've just been doing this too long and nothing is new anymore. Flowers, flowers, yawn, cutesie animals, yawn, more dang gnomes, yawn . . . And I like flowers and gnomes.

If you have any of the previous Stamptember sets by Tim Holtz, you should be able to make a profit on ebay.

Another day of savings. I like today's set, but not that much, I don't need it, and am not too fond of the racoon or whatever the 2nd animal is.

I can’t even tell what today’s stamp is. Many of the stamps seem to have a lot more white space than I remember. I remember stamps being packed in like the Altenew flower layers or the Kitchen Sink butterflies. Most of the offerings so far have a lot of space on them. I did have to buy the sloth one early on (just stamps, no dies) because I LOVE sloths (and I might have had a glass of wine or two that influenced my decision!) Since then I haven’t been tempted by much else.

According to the only comment on the SSS blog post about the Colorado Craft company stamp set, it was sold out within 30 minutes of being posted! I can't believe people spent $59.99 on the stamp and die set. It's a 4x6 stamp set, so I do not understand why it is that expensive. The stamps alone were sold for $15.99, so the dies themselves are worth $44? That's ludicrous.

Exclusive limited release does not bother me, but come on, 30 mins??

There were two I was watching for, Art Impressions and Colorado Craft. If AI had been a watercolor or if CC was a "Big & Bold" I may have considered ordering. Since neither were those my pocket book won't take a hit. Prices seem a bit high but everything has gone up (except my paycheck).

If it had been a 6x8 stamp set it would make more sense.

Can someone explain to me the ghost die with the bite out of the head in the halloween kit? And the die doesn't go with any of the stamps. I have been scratching my head over this since I saw it and even googled "ghost with bite"...I seriously missed something?!

Something to do with the candy theme I guess but it's pretty weird. I would be annoyed because it's not like you can use him for anything normal with that bite missing...

Many of the stamps seem to have a lot more white space than I remember. I noticed that too. They have all looked pretty sparse to me. Most of them seem to be three images and a few confetti bits and some sentiments. I'm not paying a premium for less than I'd normally get. No thanks.

He’s so cute but I think I would traumatize a child if I gave them a card with that unfortunate little ghost.

Today’s Avery Elle collaboration is the first one that’s even remotely interested me but there’s no coordinating die! How incredibly dumb. Oh and it sold out before I woke up so there’s that too.

Tim Holtz announced at the end of today's live that his Stamptember will, in fact, be on Monday the 20th, as has been rumored. But it will not release for sale at midnight. It will release for sale at the start of his Stamptember demo at 12pm EST. So no trolling at midnight at least for one night. Yay!!

Has anyone ordered during Stamptember and received their order? I ordered on the first, and it still says processing. Their response is just that they are behind. I sent a follow-up email on Friday asking for them to clarify that I’m not waiting on restocks because nothing was out of stock when I checked out and got my email confirmation, and she completely ignored that question. I am just about done with SSS. I wish I could cancel my order, and it wasn’t a small one.
